(34) The Last Knight Pt1

Landfall p.o.v.

It has been five years since Optimus left us to hide the seed and four since the Ultron fiasco. More humans have joined the hunt for Autobots. Tony and I had two sparklings. Tony about flipped when he learned about our sparklings being twins he had said, 'Everything comes in twos!' I laughed when he said that. Our Techno-organic sparklings were split spark twins, they were a lot like their uncles Sunny and Sides. They were mechs, they loved to prank just as much as their uncles, and their personalities were a mix of; Guard, Me, Sunny, Sides, Bucky, Steve and Tony. There was Dropshot or his human name Daniel, the older of the two who had a color scheme of black, gold and red. He was the kinder and more emotionally sensitive of the two. Then there was Tombjumper or his human name Timothy, he was younger and had the color scheme of white, silver and blue. He was more of a fighter and as sarcastic as his father.

In their human forms, Daniel had black hair and his father's brown eyes. Timothy had black hair as well but had my bright Energon blue eyes. They were my boys and even though they were only four earth years old they, like all Cybertronian sparklings, developed very quickly mentally. I would've been worried they wouldn't develop as quick as normal sparklings but thanks to the Stark genes they were at human genius levels. Everyone adored them but only I adored them more than anyone else. Tony was a close second to adoring the twins.

Lifeguard was sparked but she hasn't told anyone yet. The only ones who knew were her herself, me because she can't hide anything from me, Ratchet because he was the one who told her, and Natasha because she was keeping Clint out of the vents during the testing. She didn't want to know the gender of her sparkling or if she was going to have more then one. She would have to tell Bucky and Steve soon because the two of them were worried about her. She stayed in her bi-pede mode more often (her t-cog shut down in order to stop her from transforming and possibly harming the growing sparkling), when she could still transform she'd start purging her tanks the nanosecond she online her optics and now she spent most of her time staring at the sunset, the night sky and or the sunrise. If Tony said anything to her boys he wouldn't get any for months and he knows it. Which is why if he found out I know he wouldn't say anything until he was sure Lifeguard was going to tell the boys later that day, and he's only say something to tease them with the information he had but they didn't.

Crosshairs and Natasha were finally together but with what happened to the woman when she was younger they wouldn't be expecting any sparklings.

Arcee and Brock were together and had a femme only two earth years old.

Chromia and Ironhide had triplets all three earth years old. It wasn't a surprise seeing as Chromia herself was from a set of three.

Ratchet had lost his Sparkmate vorns ago but his sparklings were out there somewhere. A little femme and a little mech (twins) only looking about sixteen human years old frozen in a stasis pod for millennia. '

Lifeguard's p.o.v.

How do I tell them? How do I tell my beloveds that I am sparked with their children? As I sat on the grass I am greeted with a familiar face, "Ah, Agent 13 how wonderful it is to see you." I said.

"It is good to see you too Guard." said Agent 13, "Do you think he will come back?"

"Optimus? Of course. He is a protector and doesn't take shit from anyone." I said.

Just then Vector Prime arrived and smiled down at me, "Tell them, they will be overjoyed." said Vector.

"Tell who what?" asked a familiar voice.

I turned my helm to see my mates, my beloved Captain, and Winter Badass as Sunny and Sides called Bucky. Landfall chuckled every time they said it because Steve would blush and Bucky would lower his head slightly pretending to look at the ground.

Only Natasha, Ratchet, and my sister knew of my condition. Vector went into his pretender form and escorted Agent 13 into the building as Steve and Bucky all but used me as their personal tree, "Guard, you've been acting off as of late and you have been staying in this form all of the time. Doll, what's wrong?" Bucky asked.

"I have been trying to figure out how I was going to tell both of you," I said with a humorless chuckle.

"Tell us what babe?" Steve asked.

"I'm sparked," I said.

Bucky figured it out pretty quickly from the smile that split his face, Steve...not so much. Steve was still getting used to most of the Cybertronian terms, "Steve, we're going to be dads!" Bucky bellowed right into my audio receptor too.

I winced, "Sorry doll." Bucky chuckled as my inner clock informed me it was time for my appointment.

I had to move fast seeing how Steve feinted from the information he received. I carried him and a laughing Bucky into Ratchet's shop of horrors.

I laid on the berth as Ratchet began running scans after chasing Bucky out of the room with a wrench, "Well that is very interesting." Ratchet said as he manually reactivated my T-cog.

"What is?" I asked.

"Your pregnancy period is shortened by months." said Ratchet, "It may have a lot to do with the Super Soldier Serum in Captain Rogers and Sargent Barnes." 

"How long before they are born?" I asked.

"In your present form two and a half months. If you go into your human form 3 months." Ratchet said.

That was a very short time! What the in the name of Iacon was I going to do?!

~Guard what is it what is wrong~  Landfall asked through our bond.

~I have two and a half human months before my sparklings are born.~ I replied.

~Sweet Primus, is there anything that can be done?~ Fall asked.

~If I go into my human form I can extend the due date by a half of an Earth month. Ratchet thinks it has a lot to do with the serum in Steve and Bucky's blood.~ I explain.

After I get finished talking with my twin I go into my human form and I am about as big as a fucking house. I am curious to know how many I am having and what their genders are, but I will have to wait.

Ratchet's p.o.v.

I shook my helm looking at the ultrasound, poor Lifeguard was about to be in a lot of pain. She was to give birth to quadruplets two boys two girls. The Captain and the Sargent really knew where to shoot. I smiled. Sunny and Sides were going to be over the moon to welcome more sparklings. I look over to see Natasha walk in, "So, how did it go?" asked Crosshairs.

"She is as big as a house as the humans would say," I reply looking at Natasha.

"I know I saw her and had to cover for her while she went into the room with her boys," said Natasha.

"She is going to have quadruplets," I stated.

Natasha's eyes got wide as Crosshairs shook his head, "Dear Primus help us all." All Cybertronians knew how the more sparklings one carried the more protective and aggressive they were just before and right after the sparklings were born. That and all the sparklings at base were in danger from the humans still out there hunting Cybertronians down. We were safe thanks to Stark but we all still feared. And without Optimus, the fear was almost too much. Almost.

Steve's p.o.v

When Liz walked through the door I about had a heart attack, "Doll you're that far along?" asked Bucky.

"I am about 2 1/2 to 3 months, but the sparkling will be here in about 3 months as I am," she said.

"Can't you go into your biped form?" I asked.

"Then I shorten the time by half of a month," she replied.

Bucky helped her over to the bed, "Doll, I don't care if you have them in a year or two. I will still love them." said Bucky.

"Mmm, my boys." she said and we all fell asleep...
