Lifeguard's P.O.V
After helping Steve 'borrow' his old vintage uniform from the Smithsonian we headed into the woods. Skywarp and the others being in their biped mode with the exception of me and my sister. We began to make our way to S.H.I.E.L.D HQ where Arcee was inside already informing the others of our arrival shortly. We made our way in and to the communication tower. "Excuse us." I said cheekily to the guy who opened the door.
Steve made his rallying speech and shit hit the fan. Steve and I were to take out two of the targeting systems in two of the carriers. While Sam got one as well, all leading up to something neither Steve nor I were looking forward to...Bucky.
As soon as Alpha was locked we went to Charlie with a little help from Sam and Skywarp. Thundercracker was flying around taking out HYDRA piloted quinjets when Bucky showed up. He tore the wings off of Sam's pack and tossed me over board only for me to hang on for dear life. In my current form, I would go splat. As my other, I would have minor injuries with a nice size impact hole where I land. Steve and I finally made it inside only to have Bucky waiting for us. If looks could kill I tell you. Steve and I would have offlined.
Third Person P.O.V
Steve and Lifeguard stared down The Winter Soldier, the three waiting for who would make the first move. Steve not having the heart to harm his former friend and lover tried to reason with him. "A lot of people are going to die Buck." he said.
The Winter Soldier didn't even bat a lash, his cold hard stare would freeze even the bravest of hearts. Steve seeing no other option threw his shield and the fight begun. Lifeguard for the life of her didn't understand why Steve didn't give her the chip until The Winter Soldier got past Steve's shield with a single shot to the side. This enraged her and throwing all caution to the wind she entered the fight. Throwing insults the Winter Soldiers way in Russian. Which turned his attention to her. "That's right pretty eyes come at me. Show me why your HYDRA's bitch." she growled.
Steve winced at the sound of her words as he took the distraction to reach the final panel. The Winter Soldier grabbed her by the throat and whispered in her ear, "You're not my mission." before tossing her onto the glass below.
Lifeguard grunted when she hit, "He is starting to piss me off." she growled.
"HEY HEAVY METAL!" she snapped getting up.
The Winter Soldier looked down at her in shock as she used her abilities to connect to that metal arm of his. "I tried playing nice, but now you have royally pissed me off. And you don't want to piss off someone who can manipulate technology." she said as his metal arm let go of one pistol and grabbed a hold of his other hand, "Prime example being. Your arm."
Steve looked at her then at The Winter Soldier throwing his shield hitting the soldier in the chest sending him over the rail on onto the glass with her. Lifeguard stalked over to The Winter Soldier, "Not so tough when your own arm has turned against you." she said.
Lifeguard's P.O.V
Bucky looked up at me in fear, I hated seeing that in his beautiful pale eyes. I knelt down this was my chance to save him, my one chance to save Bucky and yet I was scaring the big bad Winter Soldier. I released his arm from my power, "I am not going to kill you because of Steve and killing you would kill the both of us. I can free you from all of this." I said.
Just then we were fired upon by the last person I wanted to see, "LOCKDOWN!" I snarled as he turned to attack Steve.
Apparently, the Winter Soldier didn't like sharing his mission with others because he flat out attacked Lockdown. I looked at Steve as Bucky went after Lockdown again I looked around and saw one of Bucky's weapons and dove for it. I aimed it at Lockdown and fired three rounds each hitting Lockdown.
