(36) The Last Knight Pt3

Steve's POV

Thaddius Ross was becoming a problem, ever since the Avengers told him what he could do with the Accords as well as the UN in extension the Secretary was trying to come up with a hundred different ways to get his hands on Tony's sons. Now with Liz being pregnant and with them being mine and Bucky's... I didn't dare think of what he would plan this time.

"Secretary Ross, what is it we can do for you today?" Tony asked through clenched teeth.

"I am here to offer a deal, surrender your children for testing or you will all be placed under arrest," Ross said.

Liz crossed her arms. "Ya know what I am sick and tired of you coming here thinking you own the damn place." she said, "I am tired of you harassing my sister and brother-in-law about their children which need I remind you everything here is recorded. Trying to hang the threat of imprisonment over our heads? Well, I say no more!"

"Liz, if I didn't know any better with your size-" Thaddius said.

Liz's eyes widened, "Did you just call me fat?" she growled her eyes going red.

"Uh-oh, now ya did it." Crosshairs said with a chuckle.

Liz's eyes went back to their normal blue as tears welled up in her eyes, "He called me fat." she cried.

Bucky's eyes went dark, "Did you just call our girl fat?"

That's when I clued in and looked at Secretary Ross, "You come in here threaten to have us arrested and then you turn around and insult our girl?" I asked in a tone that left no room for argument, "You know I should have Friday send for Peggy and the boys to make sure you get out of here in one piece."

"I never meant it as an insult I was merely-" Ross was broken off when Peggy stormed into the room.

"You what? Can threaten the children of Captain Rogers and Sargent Barnes too? We have been here plenty enough for your shenanigans Mister Secretary. You want the serum and you cannot have it, you will never have it you are no better than HYDRA!" Peggy said jabbing her finger into Secretary Ross's chest, "You will leave this place and never come back if you do you will have more than a hormonal soon to be mom to deal with."

"Oh, this is airing on all major news networks." Natasha said with a grin, "I think someone is about to lose his job."

"I would hope so," Peggy said as Dugan and the others came walking around the corner all of them armed.

Bucky's POV

Secretary Ross paled at that as Friday turned on the TV and Cathrine Everheart was watching the footage in shock Lucy and Liz were loved the world over not because they were Autobots, they were Avengers. Liz sobbed into my shoulder and I looked down at her. "Don't listen to him doll, your beautiful," I said kissing her forehead.

"Illegal experimentation on the first Cyberorganics on the planet how petty and cruel, be lucky Sunny and Sides aren't here or you would have them to deal with after what you did to Wanda." Steve said, "Now remove yourself."

"Hold on, may I address something while I am thinking about it," Howard said.

Thaddius Ross looked at Howard Stark in shock, "Howard Stark?" he asked shocked.

"Alive and kicking, just not hitched yet. You are threatening my grandsons so I will say this once and once only. If I hear you ever come near my son or my grandsons again I will shoot you myself." Howard said.

Just then Tony's phone began playing 'Hail to the chief' "Hello Mr. President," Tony greeted, "No sir, it is a live feed with audio. Yes, sir, he has done this since we refused to sign the accords. Theta protocol was in fact established by Director Lizzy. Yes, sir."

Tony walked over to Liz, "The president would like a word sis," Tony said.

Liz took Tony's phone, "Yes, Mr. President?" Liz asked as her eyes lit up and a dark smirk came to her lips, "Yes, sir, I will give the order. Thank you, sir, I do have an investigation opened on that, I will have it to you when it is complete I like my information correct the first time. Thank you, sir."

Liz handed the phone back to Tony and looked at Secretary Ross. "I have been wanting to do this since I was put on leave ever since the accords really. Thaddius Ross, you are hereby under arrest for terroristic threats, breaches of national security, harassment, and stalking. Agent Carter take him into custody if you will the FBI will be here within the next few hours to pick his ass up." Liz said, "Be thankful I am an Autobot and not a Decepticon because you would be laying in a pool of your own blood right now."

The Winter Soldier still within the back of my mind grinned at that comment, if she was a Decepticon no, Ross would not be breathing, she was also a Prime and what she said goes.

Third Person POV

When Secretary Ross was removed from the room the feed being broadcasted live along with audio cut off. Cathrine Everheart looked at the camera "That was actual live footage from the Avengers Compound, where just now as you just saw Secretary Thaddious 'Thunderbolt' Ross was arrested by former S.H.I.E.L.D director and founder Peggy Carter who had past away just last year." Cathrine said.

Steve and Bucky held Liz between them each one kissing the side of her head while putting protective hands over her womb. This was going to spread like a wildfire and would be the center of much controversy for months and maybe years to come. Just then they received word that Kade needed help with the TRF. "I swear these assholes are starting to piss me off, Kade needs help the Transformers Reaction Force have a hit on a downed Cybertronian Knight in Chicago. If they kill that Knight pregnant or not heads will roll." Liz said.

"When do we leave?" Ratchet asks.

"Now, Friday prep ground bridge," Liz said.

Steve and Bucky were already suited up and ready to move out. Tony was in his armor while Crosshairs and Natasha walked through, "I will waddle my ass to comms." Liz said doing just that waddling like a duck with a row of ducklings behind her.

Those ducklings being the rest of the Howling Commandos...
