The doctor let me leave telling me I should take it easy for the next few weeks. Which means I have an actual excuse not to participate in P.E. Now I'm in Bella's room waiting for her to drop me off at home. She keeps begging me to spend the night instead.
"Come on Sapphire, look at the weather it's about to storm it'll be safer if you just stay here tonight." She wouldn't let up."If we would have left an hour ago like I asked we would have avoided the storm you can spend the night at my place." I was determined to leave here.
"Ughhh ok ok, let me grab my things really fast and I'll meet you down stairs." I watched her run around her room collecting items.
I left her room and made my way down the stairs. Deciding to get some water I headed to the kitchen. After I finished my glass of water I began to feel sparks all over. Derek,Bella, and last but not least Kaydon entered.
"What's up little grey, how are you feeling after that blow to the face?" I rolled my eyes before giving Derek my death glare.
"That isn't my name."I looked over at Kaydon catching his gaze for a few seconds.
"Well you better get use to it."
"Is that what you tell the girls when they call it 'little Derek'?" I asked in a mocking tone.
Bella was mid drink when she started to laugh. Looking at Derek I seen a stare on his face as he let out a low growl. Kaydon patted him on the shoulder as he walked past him.
When I looked at his face on the things I love and cherish I almost melted in my spot. He had the most heart stopping smile on his face. The kind that made time slow down. Why does he have to be so cute? Breaking out of my trance I pried my eyes away.
"Bella can we leave now?" Waiting for her to finish her recovery from her her laugh attack I started tapping on the counter top.
"Yea let's go before Derek and Little Derek get too angry?" I laughed when I looked over at Derek, whose glare was once on me now on Bella.
"Where are you going?" Kaydon asked.
"To take Sapphire home I'm spending the night" Bella had a mischievous look on her face.
"The weather is to bad it's not safe, she'll have to spend the night." He left no room for discussion in his voice but I could care less.
"SHE won't be staying anywhere my parents expect me home so that's where I'm going." I put finger quotations around she.
A weird silence grew in the kitchen. I looked at Kaydon and his eyes were intense. Like they were before he punched the wall.
"Sapphire, since you'll be living in my pack I think it'll be good if you know where you stand. I'm the Alpha of this pack which means whatever I say goes not what your parents say got it?" I was so frozen by the change in his mood I hadn't realized he got closer to me. He practically had me pinned to the wall again.
"Well it's a good thing I'm not a part of this pack isn't it? " his eyes flashed to the golden color again. I took a mental note that his eyes change when he's angry.
Looking around I also quickly noted that crowds are quickly made in this house. Five others had walked into the kitchen without me realizing it. Before I knew it I was being carried over Kaydons shoulder.
"PUT ME DOWN, BELLA DON'T JUST STAND THERE HELP ME." She shrugged her shoulders signaling that the situation was out of her control.
I started to squirm and hit his back repeatedly. He started walking up the stairs the kitchen now out of view. My head reminded me that I was attacked by a flying Dodge ball today.
