Squinting my eyes I tried to shield my face from the harsh sunlight coming through the curtains. I tried to get my thoughts together but before I could manage I was kicked off the bed onto to the cold hardwood floors.

"Ughhh BELLAAA." I groaned into the floor and I heard her move around in the bed.

"What are you doing down there?" She asked with a scratchy tired voice.

I rolled my eyes and got up. I headed to the bathroom to wash my face and brush my teeth. My hair was crazy because I washed it last night and went to bed before it dried. So now it's in a tangled mess.

Walking out the bathroom I seen Bella mesmerized by her phone before she looked up at me.

"Time to get ready for school!" She sounds too happy.

"How about we skip today?" I didn't want to get 'accidentally' hit by any flying objects.

"We can't Sapphire it's our senior year we can't just skip out whenever we feel like it and plus Kaydon would kill me." I rolled my eyes at her for the 2nd time today.

"We can afford to miss one day besides it's  the beginning of the year we probably aren't even starting any work yet." She got out of bed and started looking around for something.

"You're right we aren't starting any work today more importantly we're having our wolf examinations." I frowned at her.

"Wolf what?" She stopped what she was looking for and gave me her full attention.

"It's when we shift into our wolf forms and get examined by the pack doctors, you know kinda like a doctor check up?" Definitely skipping today.

"Yeah one little problem Bella, I DON'T KNOW HOW TO SHIFT."

"You've had your first shift before right?"

"Well yeah when I was like 6 I think."

"Alright so just think about your wolf and she should shift for you." I dropped down on the bed face down in frustration.

"My wolf barely even talks to me what makes you think she'll shift for me."

She shrugged her shoulders and walked in her closet. She threw me an oversized sweater and my tights that I left over the first night I stayed.

"It's better to wear something comfortable so you can get in and out."

We got dressed and headed downstairs into the kitchen. I saw Derek and Kaydon standing at the kitchen island. The hairs on my neck stood up and I immediately felt the sparks. I wonder of he feels anything when I'm around him.

I hate to admit it but it kills me when we aren't close. I guess that's why Bella keeps taking things from his room that I can sleep with. Last night she went and stole a pillow from his bed for me.

"If it isn't Bella and little grey." I gave Derek my death stare.

Looking over at Kaydon he gave me a small smile and a nod. I was hurt and happy at the same time. Hurt that I couldn't even get a good morning and happy that he atleast recognized me.

"What would you like to eat?" Bella snapped me out of my thoughts.

"Anythings fine."

"There's cereal in that top cabinet over there." She pointed while she went in the fridge.

It just had to be the cabinet right behind Kaydon. I mustered up the courage to get up and head over to the cabinet. When I was there I realized the cabnet was a lot higher then expected. I stood on my toes and reached as far as I could for the frootloops. I was about to jump when I felt a hand on my waist making me freeze. The sparks shot through me as I felt his body pressed against my back.
