The Unlikely Chance

I just clung to the hollow person that used to be Flug. I clung to him, and I cried. I didn't know what to do, I just wanted him back to normal. I noticed 5.0.5 hugging him from behind. But he just stood there, wondering when we were going to stop obsessing over him. I was never going to stop, I would love him to the end of time.

I saw his paper bag laying on the ground, and I pushed it away with my foot. He didn't need it anymore.

"Flug...I need you...please..." I stuttered, barely making out words.

"I am right here."

"No. You're not!" I pushed away from him, hoping my anger would provoke fear. "You made yourself like this! You ruined both of our lives with your dumb submissive nature towards BlackHat! Look at yourself!" I was wailing at this point. "Not two days ago we were dancing in bliss! I can't lose you to BlackHat again! I won't let it happen!"

He just stared.

"That narcissistic asshole has ruined any future you or I could have had! Doesn't that mean anything to you?!" I started to scream, letting out all of my pain and suffering. "I love you Flug! I saw when you were nervous and scared! I saw you dance in secret! I saw your browser on how to ask me out! I saw the side of you only I could see! SO why can't you let me see it again?!"

I was running out of breath.

I went quiet for a moment, and then choked on my words. "Why can't you just love me like you had before?"

When I would normally hit someone, I rushed back over to Flug, and kissed him. It was an unlikely chance that it would fix him. But I tried. I kissed him like no one had ever kissed before. I ignored the burns on his face as I grabbed the back of his head, pulling him closer.

He was completely still for minutes, but like a switch went off, he grabbed my waist and pulled me closer.

We just stood there, kissing like no one ever had. Tears were still streaming down my cheeks, and slipping into his mouth through the cheek hole, but neither of us cared. We kept going, time stood still. His skin was leathery and scratchy, but I didn't care. I could hear our heartbeats, racing in syncopation. I let his arm slither down my body, outlining my curves and bumps. I didn't mind at all when I felt his hand land right above my butt, because my own hand was doing the same to his.

This was different than when we had danced before. This kiss was more. It was a declaration that we would never leave each other. That we would always be together. That we loved each other unconditionally.

I didn't want to, but I was forced to pull backwards for air. I couldn't breathe through him. We released, panting but grinning. We didn't want to let go, so we didn't. We touched our foreheads, I looked into his eye, and he looked into mine. I loved this man, and nothing would take us apart again.

A/N Sorry for the pretty lame solution to the feeling lessness, but I felt it fit and was absolutely adorable. I gotta ask you guys, do you want chapters revolving around a wedding between the two?
