What A Dancer He Is

While I was contemplating my actions, I heard music coming from the door. I knew that song, it was "Shape of you" by Ed Sheeran. Teenage girls at the park used to play it all the time. It was essentially the only song they played, so I had memorized it. Wait, why was Dr.Flug listening to a teen singer?

I looked in the window again, and saw Flug dancing. His foot was tapping to the beat, and his was expertly shaking his ass. It was the funniest thing I had ever seen, so I kept watching. He began to wander around the lab, dancing in perfect choreography. It was almost as if he had practiced this for years. He then took off his lab coat, tossing it over onto a table while he continued to dance. He was moving his body with such careful swings I couldn't help but be extremely amused by the whole endeavour. He spun a few times, and still didn't notice me looking into the window.

It was two minutes into the song when he saw my eyes in the door.

"Agh!" He stumbled backwards, super nervous about someone watching him.

I started to laugh, and I opened the door, casually walking in.

"That was the best dancing I have ever seen in my life!" I complimented both playfully and legitimately.

"H-how long were you standing t-there?!" He was still freaking out.

"Not long...just the whole song!"

He made an anxious groan, his paper bag face was flushed in red. He then proceeded to cover his face with his hands.

"This is so embarrassing..." He mumbled.

"Hey, it's fine, I actually think you were great," Which was actually the truth.

"I need to cover that window.."

"Now don't do that! Then I can't watch your awesome dance moves!" I objected his statement.

He sighed, and accepted that I was just going to know his "embarrassing" secret that wasn't embarrassing at all.

"Sorry for spying on you, but seriously, you're good,"

"I wasn't r-really expecting that...t-thanks," He looked happy from what I could gather.

"DR.FLUG!" BlackHat called for the scientist down the hall.

FLug stumbled past me and opened the door right as BlackHat came in. The tall, demonic man walked right over Flug. I could hear the crack from his spine. I cringed at the noise. Before BlackHat noticed me, I quietly went over to Flug and helped him stand. He gave me a nod as a thank you, and pointed at the door.

I was about to leave for safety when BlackHat turned around and saw me there.

"What are you doing in here?" He said 'you' with disgust, like I was a filthy animal.

"I uh-" I didn't want to tell him what I saw Flug doing.

"Helping me clean up! She's a maid, so I figured I could put her to work in here. The halls are pretty clean with 5.0.5 around, so she'd be of more help in here!" Dr.Flug saved my ass.

"I see..." He looked around, as if to judge the nonexistent cleaning job. "Do better next time!" He demanded.

I nodded my head super fast in agreement, and stood still as he started to yell at Flug.

"Why is't the death ray done yet?" He sounded extra angry.

"Well S-sir I couldn't g-get the right p-parts to complete i-it and when I-I tried it out it e-exploded on me so I've b-been trying to brainstorm n-new ideas to fix it-"

"I need it by 2 o'clock!"

"B-but sir it's 1:30!"

"I said 2!" He shouted in annoyance. "Or you're toast!"

I couldn't help but feel bad for Flug. BlackHat was a nightmare. I had to do something about it.

"Sir! I probably don't have a say in this, but you should treat Dr.Flug better! He does a lot for you!" I shook in place, hoping he wouldn't kill me.

"Is that so?" he leaned down to my height. I gulped. "And why do you think you have a say in this?"

"A-as a decent human being sir I cannot stand by and watch someone be abused!" I stuttered out. He was even more terrifying up close.

"You informed me that you were evil. Did you lie to me?" His voice was lined with anger and malintent.

"No sir! I enjoy breaking children's lemonade stands just as much as the next villain!" He was way too close for comfort. Seriously, personal space dude.

"Do it."  He grinned.

"What?"

"There is a small child who lives down the street. Go ruin their work and maybe I'll consider not killing you!" He instructed.

I ran out of the room and down the street. I saw the poor, unsuspecting little girl happily trying to sell lemonade. I think I was getting soft, because I almost didn't want to do it.
