Finally. The day everyone had been waiting for had finally arrived. The day you and Sebastian had been waiting for, for so long. Your wedding! After 6 short months filled with endless planning, shopping, taste testing, and whining, the day of your dreams had finally arrived. Yet, there you were, staring at your reflection, the fear in your eyes staring right back at you.
"Y/N, sweetheart? Look at me, please." Elizabeth's voice echoed in your ears, and it took you a moment before you could acknowledge you had heard her. Her hands were on your waist, helping you turn slowly as you stayed on the pedestal. "How're you doing, Y/N? You need some water, food, air? Anything?"
"She does look a little pale, doesn't she?" You heard Robert's voice, followed by a quiet 'ow!'. Once you had finally turned around, you were met with the sight of three of your favorite people – Downey, Elizabeth, and Scarlett.
"Do I really look pale?" You reached up to touch your face, unable to do so once Elizabeth grabbed your wrists, looking back at Robert, scowling.
"Don't listen to him, darling. You look perfect."
"Tell me again why he's here?" Scarlett raised an eyebrow in Downey's direction as he sat down on the couch, playing with the cuffs of his suit. You shrugged your shoulders, causing Elizabeth to giggle while she adjusted the small tiara on your head. You toyed with the necklace resting on your chest, admiring its simplistic beauty.
"That's the necklace you were scared to wear, right? Until we convinced you to?" You stuck your tongue out at Scarlett as she laughed, doing the same to you. You smiled while continuing to marvel at the jewelry.
"I'm so scared, you guys." You whispered it so quickly, you silently prayed no one had actually heard you. Unfortunately, from their reactions, you knew you had failed.
"Why are you scared? Don't tell me this is cold feet, Y/N, because I will tie you down to a chair in your dress!" Scarlett made good on her point, pulling out two ties from a bag, waving them in front of her face. "I'm ready for anything!" Elizabeth doubled over, laughing, and you couldn't help but crack a smile, rolling your eyes as you shook your head.
"Not cold feet, I swear! It's just pre-wedding jitters, I feel like I'm shaking." You looked down at your visibly shaking hands, chuckling as you extended your arms out. "See?! How am I gonna walk down the aisle when every part of me is shaking?"
"You're excited, you're nervous, you're ready! He loves you, Y/N. You love him." Robert stood in front of you, reaching up to smooth down the veil atop your head. "Just think happy thoughts, to calm the nerves. Talk to us, kiddo."
"How about the proposal? We've only heard Sebastian's version of events, so talk about that!" Scarlett helped you down from the pedestal, leading you to the vanity, where Elizabeth, your makeup artist, and hair stylist were laying out their things to finally get you ready. You sat up on the tall chair, leaning back as your stylist pulled your hair back, combing it. "Whenever you're ready, Y/N. Happy thoughts."
"Well, it was on April 15th, which is our 'friendiversary', and it was 7 years..."

"We're doing what?" You thought your eyes were gonna fall out of your head from the way you were staring at Sebastian, complete disbelief on your face. He shrugged, smiling as he watched you react. "Sebastian Stan, you better be freaking kidding or else I am going to die."
"Oh please, you are not going to die. It's a quick trip, I promise."
"Stan! We have a dinner reservation! You made me call in for it!"
