All around and ever surrounding.
People embracing themselves.
Remembering why I love who I am.
Remembering history,
And how it's told me not to love that part of me.

News of the latest hate crime,
Families of the victims of Pulse.
There's so much hatred,
And it's suffocating.
But days like today remind us
Of all the love still there.
