"Shiloh use powder snow! Braixen use fire spin!"
The white ninetails stood on her hind legs and began to snarl. As she opened her mouth a ball of glowing silver light began to form. It grew bigger and better by the second until finally Shiloh widened her mouth and released it. The silver orb shot in braixens direction and began to spin before exploding into a clod of thick freezing snow that covered the entire valley.

At the same time Braixen began to dance. She spun round and round, twirling her bamboo like a baton. As she spun pink flames began to form at both ends of the bamboo. She continued spinning and suddenly stopped, she struck a pose much like you would see a ballerina do and threw her bamboo into the air. Still spinning orange flames erupted creating a swirl in the sky,

the flames then took on the form of a fox and headed straight for Shiloh.

The flames hit their target. As the flames burned the ninetails right in the center of her chest. She took a few steps back
"Thunderstorm!"
Shiloh began to howl a mesmerizing tune until the sky was covered in black thick clouds. As Shiloh kept singing the clouds began to thunder and lightning.
"LOUDER SHILOH!!!"
The Pokemon raised the volume of her voice as she howled from the depths of her soul.....as she did the clouds opened up and rain began to pour from them immediately extinguishing the flames. With a final note of her melodious howl a loud crack of thunder sounded followed by a humongous bolt of lightning headed straight for braixen.
The lightning bolt hit braixen dead on, but quick thinking saved her. She used her bamboo and the ground to absorb the electricity. But even still that hit was enough for her, she was finished with this battle.

She didn't mind that she had lost to Shiloh, the young newly evolved ninetails needed to get stronger as she and their trainer hadn't fused yet. Every victory for Shiloh was one step closer to her becoming an unbeatable Pokemon.
Braixen took a bow in Shiloh's direction to let her know she was pulling from the battle. After which braixen walked up to the young Pokemon and spoke to her

"Shiloh I am proud of you, your song was beautiful, your control when I hit you was much better than last time we battled, and the strength of that thunderbolt was unmatched! I know our master is as proud of you as I am right now. I forfeited because I saw what I needed to see. I think you're ready to fuse."
"Oh Braixen ya mean it??? I really tried this time, I remembered everything you told me about clearing my mind and focusing on my song instead of the pain. I really hope master liked it!!! I want to grow up to be just like you, strong and brave! Plus I want to fuse so I can use fusion moves!!!"
Braixen smiled at the young ninetails. They walked together to Serena who was waiting and looking at Shiloh with such pride in her eyes. Bonnie was looking pumpped up like she had gotten a high from watching the battle.

"Oh Shiloh that was awesome!!! Our training is really paying off. Are you ok how does that burn feel? How about you braixen, are you alright? That was a HUGE hit you took." Serena looked at her Pokemon worriedly until Shiloh licked her face. Serena smiled and pulled out two Oran berrie pokepuffs and handed one to each Pokemon
"Ok guys eat these up and take a rest you can stay out of your pokeballs but no more battling... for now 😉.
