The Queen & The Curse

A Bittersweet Reunion

The following evening at dusk Delia, Professor Oak, and Ash & Serena's friends headed towards the center of town, coming from the forrest.
Coming from the opposite side of town, Serena, Ash, Bonnie, and Clemont made their way to meet the others in the town square.
Everyone knew tonight was the night. With determination in their eyes and hope in their hearts everyone was getting ready for what was about to come.

"ASH, SERENA!!!" Shauna yelled as she ran towards her best friend. "Ash, Serena,Bonnie, Clemont!!!" Everyone began to yell over each other.

"SHHHHHHHBHHH!!!!! QUIET!!!!!!" A voice from the shadows said in a gruff whisper. "They'll hear you. I know y'all are excited to see each other again, but don't forget... we're here for a reason. I didn't travel all this way and discontinue my journey for you all to get us caught before we can even do anything!!!"
"Miette, is that you?" Serena asked in the general direction the voice came from. "Only you would be that rude to us knowing damn well you want revenge for your village being destroyed!"

"You're right I do want revenge;" From the trees a blue haired performer appeared. She was 19 and had a female Slurpup at her side. She was beautiful, but not the nicest person around, somehow she had become one of Serena's closest friends/rivals.
"They did more than just destroy my village Serena." She continued with tears in her eyes. " They tortured and abused my mother and made my brother and I watch. I escaped, my brother attacked them and told me to run, I thought he was behind me, but when I looked back..." she had to stop a moment because she was violently crying now. "When I looked back they had him on he's knees, hands tied behind his back, they executed him. Put a bullet in the back of his head. I ran as fast as I could and then I heard a huge explosion. By then i was at the edge of the village on top of Firestone hill and I saw it. They were using an army of dragon Pokemon using hyperbeam. They blew up the entire village. Everyone who didn't die was taken away in chains. I don't know where they took them but I know it wasn't to fucking Disney world!!! I want her dead Serena, your plan better work because if not I'll kill her myself."
"Miette, " Serena began
"Don't. Just tell us the plan and let's get this over with" Miette interrupted.

Serena spent the next hour and a half explaining everyone's jobs and where she needed them. Most of them would be battling on the front line with her, Max and Clemont would be in different areas disabling Nadia's electronics , Misty would be coming from the east side of the castle where there was a huge lake. Being a water master it was the perfect location. Iris and Brock would be coming from the cave entrance virtually blocking all incoming armies. The professor, Delia, and Gary would head towards the dungeon to free the enslaved villagers.

The goal was to get Serena in the Queen's chambers so the two of them could battle til the death, ultimately deciding the fate of the world.
"Does everyone understand what their job is?"
Everyone nodded in agreement.
"Good let's get going." Serena got up and reached for a pokeball when she was suddenly surrounded by an electronic restricting band. It wrapped around her tightly pinning her arms to her side, she then began to levitate towards a meowth shaped balloon.
"TEAM ROCKET!!!! GIVE HER BACK NOW!!!!"Ash screamed.
"Ahahahaha NEVER! She's our ticket to power!" Jessie shreaked. "See ya later twerps bahahahahahahaha..." James hollered as they flew away with Serena as their prisoner.
"What do we do now?" Shauna asked.
"You all stick to the plan. Brock, Clemont, I need you to come with me, Bonnie you go with max and the two of you do both his and Clemont tasks. I going to get Serena and then we will meet you at the castle to finish the original plan. Serena is my life I will do whatever I have to do to help her get her revenge. She is our Queen and I won't rest until she has her rightful crown. She is our friend, she's always been there for us and now it's our turn."
Everyone agreed and headed towards where Serena asked them.
"Brock Clemont, are you with me?"
"Ash," Brock began, "Serena is your heart, you are like a brother to me. I will be by your side fighting until the day I die."
"It's true," Clemont started, "you're like the brother I never had, I will never turn you down in a time of need, Serena is like a sister to me. To leave her now would be like me leaving Bonnie to die. I would sooner give my life in either of their places than walk away when they need me. I'm with you all the way Ash!"

"Hmm thank you two. Let's go."
