Let me begin by saying this:
I had no intention of being an author. Penmanship bored me, and everything that left my mouth had no literary value. I disliked writing anything because I would have rather been climbing a tree than sitting at an aged-old school desk, writing about a world that does not exist. I believed in focusing on the truth, not the myths.
But I now know that people change, and that appearances do not matter as much as spirit does.
So I write this not as a book, but as a memory- just a keepsake to remember by- and hope that it is enough to keep a runaway alive.
