All I feel in pain as he beats me with his belt. Every time it happens I count in distracts me from some of the pain. 10,20, 25, 30. I'm numb now can't feel anything, i'm slipping  in and out of consciousness, and theres blood everywhere. He slams the door as he leaves. Once I hear the car roll out of the driveway I try to sit up after a few try's I finally can, then I stand. I make my way to the bathroom. This is the worse it's been in years. I can barley stand. I slip and everything goes black.

The party has started I'm in the corner standing with Christina, waiting for tris. Christina said she was that she was coming. It been a hour since she was supposed to be here.
" four what if something's wrong, what is she's hurt?"
"I'll go check on her"
" ok here's her number if she's not at her house made try calling her"
" I will"
I make my way out of the house and to my car.

I pull up into the drive way and only see one light on. I get out and walk up to the door. It's open slightly( he only slammed tris's door), so I ring the doorbell wait a few seconds. After no one answers i yell " tris"
I see a little blood on the ground. I run up the stairs and I hear quiet groans coming from the room on the right. I open the  door and I see blood everywhere. There's an open door. I see tris with blood everywhere and slashes all over her back. It's so hard not to cry, but I get out my phone and call 911. No one should have to go through the this, I'm her best friend. I can't lose her again. I can't imagine a world with her gone, and the joy and the chaos, the demons we're made of . I would be so lost if she left me alone. I'm not going to let it happen. I pull her in to feel her heartbeat.
" please don't leave me",I scream," hold on, I still want you, come back I still need you. Let me take you hand I'll make it right. I swear to love you all my life."
I hear the sirens of the ambulance , then people rushing up the stairs. I call out and they rush in. It happens so fast everyone calling order and telling me to move. They get her on a gurney and rush down the stairs, then out the front door.
" sir you can't go in the ambulance"
" please I have to"
"I'm sorry you can't"
I rush to my car and start driving so I can get there fast.

I'm so sorry that it took so long to update. I was going to make it longer but obviously that didn't happen. Of course all of the credit goes to Veronica Roth for writing Divergent, and Cord Overstreet for making the song Hold On. Let me know what you think.
