"How stupid could I be?!" Lexa screamed, half of the police force jumping as they heard the startling shout.
"Lexa, screaming won't get her back." Lincoln soothed, resting a calm hand on his cousins shoulder. Lexa merely shrugged his hand off before she began pacing one more time.
Anya kicked a nearby desk as Lexa took a deep breath. Every second passing seeming to only infuriate the two but nether-less a chaotic. Clarke on the other hand was silent, sitting in a chair and burying her head in her hands.
"If you all want to keep your jobs you'll find my family!" Lexa shouted at the frantic office, only leading to a more frenzied staff.
"Ms.Woods you have the whole police department, your office as well as special task forces on the job. Nothing else can be done." A male officer said. Anya stomped up to the man but Lincoln grabbed her shoulder before she could do anything.
"Just let me punch him." Anya said, trying her best to get around her brother. Huffing and spinning around as she set out to find something else to punch. Lincoln got handed a newspaper by a silent Indra and then handed it to Lexa.
"Anya's not doing great." Lincoln said as Lexa sat down next to Clarke.
"Are any of us?" Lexa asked rhetorically, scanning the front page of the newspaper. The faces of Raven and Demetria stood out to Lexa, their eyes seeming to bore into her soul. A saddened and disappointed gaze filled their still eyes, and Lexa had to crumple up the page to break the moment.
"They still can't find anything from Raven's truck, no footprints, no clues. No Raven or Demetria" Lincoln said defeatedly, reading off his tablet.
Clarke leaned into Lexa's side quietly, the both of them in their misery only seemed to draw them closer together. The cold office air tasted bitter against Lexa's tongue, every breath she wasted on not finding Demetria or protecting Clarke seemed to be a betrayal.
"I couldn't protect her." Clarke whispered, a slight sniffle was barely audible against her voice.
"And I failed them." Lexa said, "both of them." Clarke made a protesting sound but soon enough light snoring could be heard. Lexa sighed and softly kissed the top of Clarke's sleepy head, sighing as a terrible idea simmered in her head. She stood up, settling Clarke in a comfortable seating before glancing at her love one more time.
Forgive me.
She took a deep breath, turning towards her cousin with her placid mask.
"Lincoln, I'm going to do something really stupid."

"I am so going to get killed." Anya sung as she pulled up to the abandoned mill house, avoiding the unresting police as she got out and snuck inside the wrecked building.
The dust glimmered as Anya slid open a resistant door exposing the gloomy place with sunlight. She coughed as she took in a deep breath of the thick humidified air, her hands roaming the dry wooden walls.
Anya hissed as she pricked her finger on a nail. With further examination, Anya felt a faint stream of air from behind the rusted nail.
"Please be a hidden room, please be a hidden room." Anya whispered, resting her palms on the splintering wood. She kicked it with full force and the weak wood snapped to reveal a dimly lit concrete hallway.
"Yay." Anya said stoically, bending to walk through the considerably large hole.
Anya didn't make it three steps into the hallway before she was pushed and held down on the ground.
