Demetria sprung awake, struggling to breathe as she checked her phone for the time. Running her hands through her hair, she hadn't noticed Clarke asleep in an armchair not too far from her bed. The palm of her hands stung from unconsciously clenching her nails. Books littered the floor, and various clutter were out of place; the combination making the room less empty than it had been.
"Can't sleep?" Clarke asked, rubbing her eyes as she sat next to Demetria.
"Not for the past few nights." Demetria replied, resting her head in her hands as she focused on getting her breathing back on track. She shifted her jaw and opened her eyes to reveal the abnormal colour.
"Come on let's go." Clarke said as she tapped Demetria's arm and got up to leave.
"What- like now?"
"Yea come on, let's go."
"Wait is this one of those 'Mid Life Crisis' things?" Demetria asked as she slipped into sweater.
"Just come on." Clarke said offering a hand to the teen. Demetria shifted her jaw before following the blonde out the house and to the car.

"Clarke are you planning to kill me?" Demetria asked, warily looking around the parking lot. Clarke casually leaned on the hood of her car and watched Demetria pace back and forth.
"Please don't talk about death days after you almost died."
"It's how I calm myself." Demetria replied, shifting her jaw slightly.
"We really have to get you into yoga."
"You'd rather have me doing yoga in the middle of a parking lot?"
"Okay I really don't need your dry humor right now-"
Clarke halted her words as she saw a lean figure in the distance. Lexa looked better than ever for Clarke. She wore a floral designed top that hung off her shoulders and ripped jeans with a hint of a smile as she saw the two.
Breathing was an unfamiliar concept to Clarke as Lexa smiled in her direction. Then a look of utter relief as her vibrant green eyes landed on Demetria.
Demetria waited for Clarke to finish her sentence until she followed her line of vision to the tall brunette. A glowing smile graced her face as she saw Lexa. The brunette made
her way to the smiling duo, her stride long and ambitious.
"I thought it wasn't safe." Demetria smiled, Lexa mirroring an enchanting smile."Fuck safety." Lexa laughed as she cautiously embraced Demetria.
"I mean, no no, no fucking safety, safety's very important." Lexa rambeld as she met Clarke's glare. She still hadn't let go of Demetria but her arms slowly loosened as Lexa took notice of all the bandages.
"Yu stanop strik won?" You good little one?
"Shut up." Demetria mumbled as Lexa kissed the top of her head.
Clarke smiled as Lexa turned towards her, both their smiles faltering a bit as they remembered their argument.
Blue meets Green
Lexa's eyes had a sad hint embedded in them, but she fearlessly looked Clarke straight in the eye. Clarke 's deep blue eyes held a melancholy shine, and thus a restricted battle began.
Demetria picked up on the vibe and shifted her jaw once before climbing back into the car, waiting patiently.
"It's killing me." Lexa started, her mask not present and instead a regretful look. Clarke focused on Lexa's brows slightly furrowing, her lips and her vibrant yet lacerating eyes.
