' Alone' you cried, at that time,
But you watched yourself serpentined.
When you screamed and sniveled alone,
That's when you know, there's no place like home.

When there's numbness in your nerves,
When you are the bait, and for you the whole world lurks.
That's when you run away again,
But now it's too late, to keep yourself away from pain.

When you sighed and cried for those warm hugs ,
That your mom used to give you when you got yourself completely broken.
Racing heartbeats calmed down a little,
With her soothing caress, that's when your irreparable holes got filled.

When now, you're frustrated with working an single hour more,
And you start saving your money.
When you're away from home, a thousand miles,
So you remember when you got irritated, when your dad says no for a while.

You can't say your life's bad,
When you got parents, shelter, education and food.
You got to know that you are immensely rich,
So better stop saying your freaking life ditched.

Away from home is a curse,
Second by second it only gets worse.
When you're desperate and drool for something to eat,
Not from that marts and restaurants, but what your mom greet.
