Melvin's POV.

"I knew this was a bad idea Melvin."

Adrian was running around gather all the clothes I took off of her putting them on.

I laughed watching her panic. I mean we were grown ass people my dad just know to knock next time.

"It isn't funny."

"My bad baby." I giggled bringing her in for a hug. "You act like you finna get a whole ass whooping."

"I know but still." She checked herself in the mirror.

"You good girl."

I grabbed her hand opening the door. We walked into the kitchen seeing my grandma and dad watch us like hawks.

"I know I said I wanted grandkids but not made here." She laughed making Adrian face turn red.

"I didn't mean to walk in on you young people. Me and your mother did it here all the time."

"Eli!" My grandma threw the dish towel at his face making me laugh.

"Woman I'm grown hell!" He threw it back.

They went back and forth at each other's necks.

I motioned for Adrian to follow me to the dinning room.

"Your family is crazy." She laughed taking a seat next to me.

"Tell me about it. They can go at it all day but I miss them."

They walked back in with the food placing it on the table.

"Do you need any help?" Adrian scooted her seat back ready to get up.

"No thank you baby. I believe Melvin has worked you enough." She smiled leaving back out.

I doubled over laughing but she hit my arm.

"That is so embarrassing."

"It's okay though baby." I laughed placing my hand on her thigh.

"It's not okay." She only said putting her head down. He knew Adrian was going to feel some type of way about this for a while.

Adrian POV.

Everyone was seated at the table eating and conversing with each other. Melvin had a wonder father and grandmother. It only made me miss the relationship I could have had with my people. I didn't want to be the elephant in the room so I just went along.

"So Adrian, what do you do for a living?"

I raised my head up from my plate seeing Mr. Eli smiling. I only blushed placing my fork on the plate.

"Well I'm a Graphic Designer at William's Enterprise." I said with confidence. It felt good to be making money, being in a now healthy relationship and working on a baby.

"Well you go missy." Ms. Anna complemented making me laugh. ( Melvin's grandmother's name.)

"Thank you. I really enjoy what I do and your grandson is a huge help." I glanced over at Melvin who was smiling at me.

"I'm sure he is, you have a good one." Mr. Eli assured winking at Melvin.

All of a sudden Melvin's grip on my thigh tighten making me gasp but quickly I played it off by clearing my throat. I glanced over at him and he had the biggest smile on his face.

"How many kids do you want?" Ms. Anna asked taking a sip of her drink. "I'm fine with two, a boy and a girl."

I smiled just thinking about it. "I want six, I think that's good enough." My smile turned into a frown as I looked over at Melvin.
