Chapter 1: The Siblings

(Y/n) and Naruto Uzumaki, the two jinchūriki of the nine tailed bijuu, Kurama. Naruto held the 'Yang' half of Kurama while (Y/n) held the 'Yin' half of Kurama. After their parents' death, the two babies were entrusted to the Third Hokage. He looked after them until the twins turned 5 years old, leaving them to fend for themselves; they still got a monthly allowance each, of course. Knowing now that they could not depend on anybody else, the two twins learned to depend on each other for anything they ever needed.

Naruto and (Y/n), both at the age of seven, had different personalities that were yet oddly similar to one another, but they were still happy children. (Y/n) held a resemblance to her mother, long, deep red hair and violet eyes, while Naruto looked like his father, spiky blonde hair with cerulean blue eyes. (Y/n) was shorter than Naruto by two inches, being that he was the older twin.

"Onii-chan...." a small (Y/n) called. "Onii-chan!!!" she yelled tried to wake up her older brother, shoving him side to side. Naruto, startled by (Y/n), fell off the bed upon his awakening. As he sat up, he saw his little sis sitting on the bed, "Oh, you're awake. Did, ya sleep well?", (Y/n) said with an innocent smile on her face. Naruto glared at her, the expression of annoyance clearly plastered on his face.

"Ya, sure" the groggy kid muttered.

"Why are you mad, I thought you wanted to wake up early today?" She said as her smile was replaced with a frown.

As she said that, Naruto quickly remembered his plans for today; defacing the faces of the four Hokages. A large mischievous smile stretched across his face.

(Y/n) watched as he brother ran around the apartment trying to get dressed and ready for the day, tripping a few times along the way. The younger twin followed him all around the house as he grabbed everything he needed.

"See ya later, (Y/n)!" Naruto yelled as ran out, slamming the door. "Wait! you didn't even eat break....fast......." The girl yelled before she was cut off by the slamming door. She sighed in defeat looking around the room, noticing the mess Naruto had made a throughout whole apartment...

(Y/n) had spent the next hour cleaning up all of the mess he had made. As she finished cleaning up the the bedroom, the sound of the front door closing had startled her. She ran to the front door ready to scold her brother about the mess he had made but stopped dead in her tracks as he was met faced to face with two men. One of them was Lord Third and next to him was a younger ninja, probably in his early 20s. The man had silver hair that seemed to defy the laws of gravity, a mask that covered the lower half of his face, and a headband that covered his left eye. Both men took notice of how clean the apartment was; not a speck of dust to be seen.

The Hokage looked at (Y/n) and saw that her arms were full of Naruto's dirty clothes. He chuckled and patted her head. "Naruto made another mess, I see," he said as he continued to eye the room. She simply nodded her head as she stood uncomfortable with the sudden intrusion of her home, especially by the stranger. "Oh, where are my manners, (Y/n), this is one our elite ninja, Hatake Kakashi." The Hokage said abruptly as the ninja now known as Kakashi looked at the young girl giving her a closed eye smile, or at least that is what it looked like.

(Y/n) took her eyes off of the ninja and walked towards the table in the kitchen gesturing the men to take a seat. "Why thank you," the Hokage said as both of them took a seat across from her.
