'Fire Style: Fireball jutsu!' Sasuke blew fire down the hall, aiming for the Uzumaki. "S-Sasuke!" Sakura ran up to him. Hinata looked on from the doorway in worry. The screaming had stopped but Naruto was on his knees panting in exhaustion. "What the hell, Sasuke!" the blonde genin had burns all over him. Naruto was frustrated. He was annoyed by the fact Sasuke wouldn't let him check up on (Y/n). His blue eyes turned into a bright red once again. His movement was too fast for the Uchiha to keep up and before he knew it...

Naruto had opened the door.

He stood frozen in the doorway. He moved his mouth but no words came out. Fast approaching footsteps were nearing him. He looked to the side and saw Hinata running towards him. She stopped right next to him as she too looked into the room. Tears ran down her pale cheeks as she ran towards the girl. "(Y/n)!!" she couldn't help but scream. She fell to her knees, falling next to the girl. There laid (Y/n) and Kakashi. The small girl was shaking uncontrollably. The jonin laid there unconscious, his breathing was raspy and faint. (Y/n)'s left eye fluttered open, catching the attention of the crying Hyuuga. "H-Hina.... Get Papa a wet cloth. He lost too much chakra. He needs to rest and cool down before anything bad happens..." her voice strained as she spoke up. "W-What about you...?!" Hinata choked out. "Don't worry Hina... I-I'm fine. Please. Papa needs to rest..." the girl sat up as Naruto and Sasuke ran into the room. "(Y/n)!" Sasuke ran to her side. "Help Papa out of here..." the Uchiha's eyes darted towards the unconscious jonin. "Naruto!" Sasuke called out holding one of Kakashi's arms around his neck. Naruto furrowed his eyes and nodded back grabbing the other arm, helping Sasuke support the tall Hatake. (Y/n) watched as they carried her father out of the room. "Hina..." the tired girl hugged Hinata, who sat frozen as tears dropped onto the floor below her. "I'm sorry..." the Hyuuga's eyes widened as she felt (Y/n)'s grip around her releasing. A slight breeze blew around her, picking up the surrounding dust. (Y/n) was nowhere to be seen.

The fragile girl appeared on the bottom floor of the tower. She limped her way towards her two teammates that looked over Kakashi. She felt her knees give up. "(Y-y/n)!!" Naruto grabbed her before she fell. "Is he breathing...?" her voice was low and faint. "Y-yeah he is..." Naruto looked back at the silver-haired man. The two siblings made their way to Kakashi. (Y/n) sat down next to her father as she grabbed his hand. Slowly, she rolled up his sleeve and lift his arm to her face. "What are you-" Naruto mumbled before his question was answered a second later. The girl bit down onto Kakashi's arm sending small droplets of blood flying out. The two other genin looked on wide eyed as the jonin's body began to glow with chakra surrounding him. Soon, the chakra faded as (Y/n) took a vial of ink and a small blank scroll from her pouch. She dipped her finger and drew a bird with some writing on the side. Her first two fingers raised into the air as she concentrated on lifting the ink. Quickly, a small bird began to happily jump around on the scroll. "H-How'd ya do that!" Naruto looked in awe. "An old friend taught me," she looked down at the bird with a weak smile. She rolled up the scroll and tied it to the bird's leg. The three watched as the bird swiftly flew out the window. Her attention quickly shifted towards her father who started to squirm a bit as his eye fluttered open. "P-Papa...!" his eyes opened slightly as they adjusted to the light. He felt two arms wrap around him and a slight weight on his chest. Kakashi looked down and saw his daughter's worried face. "Morning." A soft chuckle could be heard from behind his mask. The girl's head darted up and was greeted by her father smiling behind his mask. "Papa!" Tears of joy landed on the Hatake's cheek has his daughter's arms wrapped around his neck. A smile found its way to Sasuke and Naruto's faces as they looked on. A moment of silence passed before (Y/n) let go of her father. "Ne, Papa...?" her face was covered in a slight flush. "Hm?" he responded as he sat up. "Uh, w-why are you here...?" she spoke up. "Huh?" the three said in unison. "Yeah... I mean... It's the middle of the exams... I don't think anybody other than the genin and proctors are allowed here..." she scratched the back of her head. Before anybody could say a word, Kakashi picked up the two male genins like sacks of potatoes and carried them out the room, closing the door behind them. "She clearly has some sort of amnesia. For hers and your sakes, just go along with what she remembers," the jonin spoke quietly. The two hesitantly nodded as Naruto stepped back into the room. Sasuke followed closely behind until Kakashi grabbed him by the shoulder, stopping him in his track. "If she doesn't remember about the curse mark, don't say a word about it. If she doesn't remember about it, chances are she won't succumb to it," he spoke with a sternness in his voice. Sasuke simply nodded as he and his sensei walked back into the room. They were greeted by the sight of Naruto poking (Y/n)'s forehead as if that'll fix her amnesia. "(Y/n) what's the last thing you remember?" Kakashi spoke as he stood next to the girl. "Hmm... Waking up to Sasuke not letting go of me as he slept," she mumbled to herself not really expecting for the three to hear her. But to Sasuke's dismay, they heard every word of it.
