[Elena's P.O.V]
Garrett was hit with a metal bar and was knocked out cold; he didn't move, seeming lifeless as he laid against the ground. "Garrett!"
I tried to wake him up, but he was hit way too hard. "Cuff the girl," said one of the taller trench coat guys.
Two of them cuffed my hands, dragging Garrett by his shirt collar. I struggled to run as they tightly gripped my hands. It hurt so much.
"Please, let go! I-It hurts-" I was almost on the verge of tears.
"Shut up! Put a bag over her head, now!"
"No!-"
They put a smelly bag over my head, almost making me feel nauseous. These people probably watched too many TV shows or dramas, but it was still effective, in that I had no idea where we were. All that aside, I was just scared about what they might do to Garrett.
"Sit 'er down."
I was seated in a wooden chair, feeling lose pieces of wood clip my legs. I felt a sudden cuff wrap around both my wrists tightly, startling me. Following that, the smelly bag was taken off my face. When I viewed the room, it looked like a torture chamber. Garrett was hanging by his wrists from a wooden pole, hovering horizontally in the room. He's not far from the ground ... why is hanging so low? Some blood dripped down from his head, almost flooding the left side of his face with blood.
"Okay, girlie. 'Cause of your name, a lot of people could get hurt. Cough up some dough, or three very important people to you will bite the dust."
"I don't know where the money is kept ..."
"That so?"
The guy turned around, snapping his fingers to the two people guarding Garrett. One of them pulled out a whip, flogging it right across his chest. Garrett's eyes snapped open, glancing over the room. He looked below him to see two trench coat guys, then seeing me cuffed to the chair; his eyes slowly widened once he came to.
"Elena!-"
They whipped him again as he spoke.
"Garrett!"
"Now your friend's awake. Talk, or we're really going to hurt him, and you."
"Don't tell them anything!" Garrett shouted, trying to wrangle his way out of the rope.
"Okay, this is just annoying. Get 'em out." Said the trench coat guy.
"As you wish." Said someone else in a trench coat, except their voice was different. It sounded ... feminine. On top of that, it was a strangely familiar voice to me. I'd heard it before, but couldn't figure out whose voice it was.
"Here you go." She handed the tallest trench guy a long box. He opened it, showing countless knives.
"Please ... d-don't-"
"Oh, these aren't for you. They're for him." He pointed directly at Garrett.
"Snap it."
The female nodded and held a remote, pressing the top button. The last thing I heard was Garrett calling my name, and seeing absolutely nothing.
