Fore word by Moondragon: I would like to welcome a brand new WPAvenger to our midst, Rogue A.K.A @EvaReigns who will be doing regular interviews with our lovely Avengers team. First up is Thor.

Lets talk with a WPAvenger

It is my pleasure to interview Wattpad author, Angel Robiou, AKA @Arch_AlphaSirius.  Angel's book, Of Immortals and Men, has over 10,600 reads and more than 620 votes.  Having read Of Immortals and Men myself, I feel confident Angel's success will continue to grow.

Tell us a little about yourself and your background?

Well to begin, my name is Angel Robiou and I’m Dominican and part French. (My last name is French.) I was raised in the United States for the first fourteen years of my life, although I was born in Dominican Republic. I speak fluent Spanish and English, and I currently reside in the Caribbean Island of DR. To sum up, I am a twenty-five year old male, graduate architect, who loves music, art and writing as a hobby.

What were you like at school?

During my high school life, I wasn’t the poster board for sunshine. I was a pissed off teen who drank way too much alcohol. That was the first year, during my freshmen experience to be exact. I disliked a few of my classmates as I was picked on but, I think that happens to everyone at some point. Things got better during mid-sophomore year and then I went from being the pissed off drunk to just a carefree drunk. College was different though; it was the best four years of my life, an experience that really changed me and helped grow into the individual I am now. I was happier, my outgoing nature flourished even more, and I got to travel a lot, which fed into the type of person I am since I can be a bit adventurous.

Were you good at English?

I excelled at many subjects, math not being one of them. English was just one of my fortes. I am exceptionally good at English grammar, but weirdly enough, I am not as good with Spanish as I am with English.

What inspired you to write this book?

Well at the time, I was working on a vampire novel for myself really, and I realized, as I went on to write it, that werewolves were my real preference. My favorite animal is the wolf, and I knew that I needed to write something werewolf related. Thus, Of Immortals and Men was born.

Give us an insight into your main characters. What inspired you to create them?

Exsavior, my main character, was inspired from an anime show I watched during my teen years—Inuyasha. I loved that show, and it was kind of my relief from school at the time, so the character and show gave me some sort of peace of mind when I needed it most. The rest of the characters, to be honest, came about to help aid Exsavior. The females, however, are made strong and powerful because I simply despise weak female characters. In any case, I wanted to make an endearing MC like Exsavior—someone with the quirks to keep things interesting, and with a lot of room for growth. Since he was ostracized from the human world for half of a century, modernism and everyday situations, like going shopping at the mall, would be a lot more interesting to read than not just because of how he would handle himself.

What genre is your book?

I guess if Wattpad had the genre, it would be supernatural. Sub-genres would include fantasy and romance. Not many guys would write romance, but I believe that the MC must have some sort of love interest to balance out what he/she must do with what he/she wants to do.
