So this is the next chapter. I will be focusing more on Falling Again at the moment, because I have more ideas. Please don't be too mad, and do understand that I can only do so much at a time.

Jade's POV:

"Where is she?" I could hear Jesy whisper to Leigh-Anne. "I don't know, I've searched everywhere! She's not answering my calls, it's like she doesn't want to be found!" Leigh-Anne was frantic at this point. She was the one that has Perrie's schedule and told her about meetings.

So naturally, if Perrie was a no-show, Leigh would get blamed for not alerting Perrie to this meeting. I felt bad for Leigh-Anne, but I had a feeling that Perrie not showing up was  my fault. I was determined to find Perrie, and get her to go to this meeting.

Also, I owed Perrie an explanation, and an apology. I would tell her everything, then hopefully I would get my best friend back. I would keep my feelings to myself. "Excuse me, I need to use the restroom," I said. Jest merely nodded, and Leigh didn't even look up.

I walked out the door, then took off running, glad I hadn't worn high heels for my first day. I ran around the whole downstairs, looking for Perrie, I stopped and leaned against the side of one of the big staircases. I felt something hard press into my back.

I stepped back, and gasped. There was a small door handle there! Why would there be a small door handle in the side of a staircase? I pulled open the door to reveal Perrie, sitting on the floor, her knees drawn up to her chest, and she was staring blankly at the wall.

"Perrie," I whispered. Perrie whipped her head around to face me. "Jade." Her face was a Mask of shock, and I could see pain in them. "Perrie, the meeting's about to start," I said. "Oh, well thank you for alerting me," Perrie said, her voice gaining that steely edge to it again.

She stood up, and straightened her tie. Her face was now businesslike again, but her eyes showed how much she was truly hiding. "Perrie, what's wrong?" I asked. "Nothing is wrong," Perrie snapped. "Perrie, I've known you for too long. I know you. Your eyes give it all away. You're hurting. Spill. Now." My voice was bossy now.

"Jade, I-I can't," Perrie looked more vulnerable now, and I stepped foreword to hug her. "No Jade, don't," Perrie said. "Nobody can know we knew each other. It's best if we forget our past." My eyes filled with tears. "Perrie, why?"

Perrie looked conflicted. She suddenly leaned foreward, and kissed me softly. I felt sparks pass between us, and as soon as she had kissed me, Perrie pulled away. "I'm sorry Jade, I shouldn't have done that," she said, her voice filled with remorse.

She quickly turned, and marched towards the meeting room. I followed her dejectedly, replaying the kiss over and over in my head. Why did she pull away? She acted like it was a mistake to kiss me. Am I now just a mistake to her?

Perrie's right. I need to move on, and forget our childhood. There is only one problem to my logic. I can't.

Perrie's POV:

Why did I kiss her? I'm supposed to hate her. I need to erase all feelings for her, before this gets out of hand. I had trouble focusing throughout the meeting, I kept glancing over at Jade. She kept her head down, her hair hiding her face.

What if Jade liked the kiss? No, stop thinking like that, Perrie! Open up to her again, if you even just become friends again, she'll just leave you, and break your heart again! I pushed all thoughts of Jade out of my head, and focused more on what Jesy was saying.

That afternoon, I saw Jade walking out of the building, over to her car. I had an annoying urge to go over and kiss her again. Mentally slapped myself. You are a professional Perrie! You're an adult, so stop acting like a silly teenager! Jade is nothing more than an assistant to you.

The more I said it, the more I believed it. I was finally not going to think about Jade Thirlwall. I got in my car, and drove off. Why do I still feel such a heavy weight on my chest?

I drove up to my house, and walked up to my door. I unlocked my door, and stepped inside. I still needed to finish my work from the day, the crazy day I had. I changed into some sweats, put my hair up in a loose bun, and replaced my contacts with glasses. I grabbed some leftover pizza, and got to work on my forms and reports.

By the time I had finished, I was exhausted. I went into my room, and collapsed into my bed. I crawled under the covers, and fell into a deep sleep. The last thing I thought of before I fell asleep was the time Jade and I were 5, and we had decided to make slime. I needed Jade out of my mind, but I was slowly but surely, falling for her again.

You guys like this chapter? I'm writing this kind of late, so I'm sleepy. Hope it's not to bad! Love you!
