This is the big and exciting Jerrie date! I hope you enjoy it!
Perrie's POV:
I opened the door, to reveal Jade. "Jade!" I exclaimed. "You look stunning!"
This was true. Jade had chosen a creamy off-white dress, that had a tight bodice. At the waist, however, the dress flowed freely down to her knees. She had on a pair of white heels. Her hair cascaded down her back in long waves. Her eyeliner and mascara brought out how truly beautiful her caramel eyes were.
"Thank you," Jade laughed, causing me to blush, and turn away slightly. "You look amazing as well."
"Thank you," I smiled at her. "Shall we get going?" Jade asked. "Sure," I said, closing and locking my door behind her. "So, how's life been? You need to catch me up on everything...since I left," Jade finished awkwardly. I realized I didn't feel as hurt as I should have felt.
"It's been going well, actually," I said, as I climbed into the passenger seat of Jade's car. "You remember 'Miss Popular' Carley, right?" I asked. "How could I not?" Jade snorted. "You'll never believe this, but she and her boyfriend eloped!" I exclaimed. "No way!" Jade said, laughing.
"Yeah, and I heard a rumor that she left him for another man, that was supposedly better for her," I said, smirking. "You don't say," Jade smiled. "Oh yeah, and remember Anna, the girl who was getting bullied by Carley?" I asked. "Yeah," Jade said.
"Well one day, she stood up to them! She said that enough was enough. Anna never was bullied again, and I became good friends with her. I even helped her get the courage to ask out one of her boyfriends, and he's now her fiancée!" I exclaimed. "Wow! That's wild!" Jade laughed.
It felt so good, to talk like this with Jade. It was like nothing had changed at all, it was like we were the best friends we always were. "We're here!" Jade said, pulling into the parking lot. She parked, and hopped out. As I was reaching for my handle, my door opened, and there stood Jade.
"A little help for the Madam?" Jade said, extending a hand towards me. I laughed, and took it. "Thank you kindly Miss," I said, grinning. "My pleasure," Jade smiled. She even shut my door for me. We strolled hand in hand into the fancy restaurant.
"Reservation for Thirlwall," Jade said. "Of course, right this way," the woman said. She led us to our table. "Enjoy your meal," she said formally, and walked off. Jade snorted, as she helped me sit down. "Enjoy your meal," she mimicked softly to me. "God, it's like she's a maid of the royal palace or something."
I sniggered into my napkin. "You are right on as usual Jade," I said once I had stopped laughing. Jade opened her mouth to say something, but was interrupted by the arrival of the waiter. "Can I get you ladies something to drink?" The waiter asked, shamelessly staring me up and down. "I'll have an ice water please," Jade said loudly.
The waiter glared over at her. "Of course," he said stiffly. "And you, beautiful?" He asked, winking at me. "I'll have the same," I said. "Anything for you," he said. I could see Jade smoldering in her chair. "Umm, thanks," I said. The waiter winked at me one last time, before disappearing and reappearing not long after with out drinks.
"Here," the waiter said tonelessly to Jade, and practically throwing her drink at her. "And here's your drink," he said, winking at me again. "Thanks," I said. He didn't answer, he had gone back to staring at me.
"Hey!" Jade interrupted, shaking the waiter's shoulder, so he turned to he in surprise. "I don't like you checking out my girlfriend," she practically snarled at him. "Oh yeah?" He sneered back. "Prove that she's your girlfriend."
"Okay, Jade said simply.
She leaned across the table, and gently pressed her lips against mine. I closed my eyes, and kissed back for a second, before pulling away. Thoughts were going through my brain at a mile a minute. I shouldn't have kissed her back. I only did it to make the waiter back off, right?
"O-oh, my apologies," the waiter stammered. "You'd better be," Jade said. We ordered, and the waiter couldn't scramble away fast enough. "Sorry," Jade said, fiddling with her napkin. "It's okay, I know you were just doing it to stop the waiter's horrible attempts at flirting," I said.
Jade laughed. "I assume he will stay away from us now." I laughed as well. "Me too."
The rest of the night went smoothly. Our food was delicious. Jade payed for the meal, and I insisted on paying the tip. She drove me home, and we chatted some more, and caught up on what the other had been doing.
Jade escorted me to my front door. "I left a voicemail," she said. "What?" I said. "The day I left. When I couldn't find you, I left you a voicemail explaining everything," Jade explained. "Oh. I deleted it without listening to it, I was to mad at you," I responded guiltily.
"At least we're friends again," Jade smiled. "Not friends, best friends," I corrected. "Yeah," Jade said. She leaned in, and looped her arms around my neck. I slid my arms around her waist, and returned the hug.
Jade pulled away, them moved in so our noses were touching. "Best friends," she breathed, before smashing her lips onto mine with so much passion, my knees buckled. Jade caught me, and supported me against my door, and she threaded one hand into my hair. I pulled her tighter against my chest, and kissed her back just as hard.
I don't know how long we kissed for, but we pulled apart, both of us breathless. "Wow," Jade gasped for air. I nodded, sucking in gulps of air. "Yeah," I finally said. "Goodnight Perrie," Jade said, kissing me once more.
This kiss was slow and gentle. After a while, Jade pulled away, pecked my lips one last time, and walked back down to her car. In a daze, I pulled open my door, and stepped inside. I walked into my room, and fell onto my bed. I kicked off my heels, and get into pajamas.
I stared at the ceiling, whispering one thing over and over until I fell asleep. That one thing was, "I love you Jade."
Double update! A lot of Jerrie in there for you guys.
