Sorry that I left my book on a cliffhanger for so long! Hope your toes don't hurt too much. Anyways, here's chapter 14!

Perrie's POV:

Jade stared at Danielle for another few seconds, then ran out of the cafe faster then I could process. "Jadey! Princess, wait up!" I called, pushing Danielle out of the way as I ran after her. I looked right and left, and spotted Jade sprinting down the road, almost out of my sight. "Jade!" I shrieked, starting to sprint in her direction.

When my breaths came out in short gasps, I forced myself to stop running, and bent over with my hands on my knees. I made a mental note to get in better shape, maybe go to the gym once a week after this. I took a few huge gulps of air, steeled myself, and started to sprint again. I closed my eyes for a minute, and when I opened them, a tree came looming into view too fast for me to stop. I sprinted full speed into the tree.

My head hit the tree trunk's with a WHAM! Crying out in pain, I staggered away from the tree, a hand on my forehead. I dropped to the ground, cradling my head in my hands. I felt something warm and wet on my hands. I took my hands away from my head, and saw blood on my hands. I took several breaths as the world started to spin.

Everything flashed red, and back to normal. I felt blood dripping down my forehead. I touched my forehead, and a searing pain cut through it. I fell back on the ground, gasping from the pain. As the world faded to black, I heard Jade's voice.

Jade's POV:

I stopped dead in my tracks as I heard a loud cry of pain from somewhere behind me. I shook my head, and kept running. I slowed down some time later, as it hit me that the voice sounded like..."Perrie!" I shouted. I quickly turned around, and ran back the way I came. As I came into a clearing, I saw a body crumpled at the foot of a tree.

As I got closer, I saw blond hair peeking out from under a coat collar. "Perrie!" I shouted again as I dropped to my knees beside Perrie, and turned her over. I gasped. Her eyes were closed, and there was blood dripping from a nasty gash in her forehead. She was deathly pale, but her chest rose and fell in repetition.

I opened my phone, and dialed Jesy. "Heya Jeed, what's up?" Jesy said once she picked up. "Jesy, Perrie is unconscious. I don't know what happened, I found her laying on the ground, with a huge cut in her forehead. It's bleeding steadily. Please come!" I said, fighting tears. "I'm on my way," Jesy replied after a pause. "I'll bring the doctor."

I took off my coat and tied it to Perrie's forehead. I gathered her into my arms, and pressed a kiss to her lips. "Jesy's on her way Perrie, hang on," I whispered into her ear. Perrie shifted in my arms, and mumbled something incoherent.

"What happened?" Jesy voice rang out clear across the park. "I don't know, I told you that already," I said. A man with a lab coat bent down, and slung Perrie into his arms. "I take her back to bus," he said with a thick Russian accent. "Okay," I whispered. "You girlfriend?" He asked gruffly. "No, I'm her assistant and her friend," I replied, my stomach clenching at the thought of lying to this man.

"Okay, you and Jesy follow behind me in car," the man gestured to a couple rental cars parked a few feet away. "Alright," I said, climbing with Jesy into one of the two cars, and we sped off to the bus.

"His name is Borya," Jesy said as she drove, not taking her eyes from the other rental car in front of us. "He's the doctor we hired for this trip. He's very good, this is the second time we've hired him. He's a bit short with his words, and a bit sharp and distant, but he's a wonderful man once you get to know him."

I nodded. It was my fault Perrie was injured. If I hadn't freaked after seeing Danielle for the first time in years, if she hadn't stirred up all the old hurt I had locked away for so long, Perrie and I would be fine right now. We'd probably be walking through the city, drinking our drinks, holding hands and talking about small nothings.

"The meeting, our first stop," I gasped. "Is postponed until tomorrow," Jesy replied. "Why?" I asked. "They couldn't make it today, they're finishing up other business," Jesy said. "Oh," I said, and the rest of the ride was in silence.

"Will she be okay?" I asked Borya as he bandaged Perrie's head. "She has possible concussion, but not that possible," Borya replied, looking up from Perrie. "Okay, and the cut?" I asked. "The cut was no big deal, I sew it up fast and easy," he said. I exhaled. "Thank you Borya," I said. "No big deal," he replied gruffly, but I caught a twinkle in his eye before he turned away.

********************

"Here's the last of your pain meds for now," I said, handing Perrie a couple of pills, and a glass of water. "Thanks love," Perrie said, accepting the glass and pills from me. I watched Perrie finish the glass of water, and smile at me. "I really appreciate you taking care of me," Perrie said, looking at me with eyes full of love. "Always," I replied, leaning over, and kissing Perrie's cheek softly.

"I'm tired," Perrie yawned, stretching, then winching, putting a hand up to her bandage. "Aww, my poor Pezza," I cooed, getting out of my chair, and laying down beside Perrie under the covers. I felt a ghost of Perrie's lips graze over my forehead. "I love you," Perrie sighed. "As I love you," I replied, and I fell asleep, right beside Perrie.

Hope you liked chapter 14! Love you all!
