Here's chapter 13! Hope you enjoy!
Perrie's POV:
Jade and I hastily untangled ourselves. "Look, Jesy," I said, wracking my brain with any possible explanations. Jesy just started, jaw dropped, eyes wide, unblinking. Her face was absolutely ridiculous. I whipped out my phone and took a picture, a smile on my face.
I showed the picture to Jade, and she started laughing. "Oh Jesy, your face!" She said. Jesy righted herself, and glared at us. "Tell me what you were doing?" She asked. "Ummm..." I said. "Kissing," Jade said simply.
I shot Jade a glare. "Jesy saw us, what good is there in lying?" Jade shrugged. "Hello, why were you kissing?" Jesy asked, crossing her arms. "We're dating," Jade said like it was the most obvious thing in the world.
Jesy's face turned triumphant. She took out her phone, and hit a button. "Captured in a perfect recording!" She crowed. "Leigh Anne owes me 50 dollars!" Jade and I looked at each other, confused. "Wait...you made a bet on whether we would start dating?" I asked incredulously. "Duh, and I just won the bet," Jesy replied.
I massaged my temples as a sudden headache came on after hearing about the bet. "When did you and Leigh Anne start this...bet?" I asked carefully. "When you left after getting introduced to Jade. Leigh Anne didn't think that you guys would get together, but I knew I would win, and I did! I gotta go tell Leigh!" Jesy made to leave, but Jade darted forward faster then my eyes could follow, and grabbed her arm.
"We all know that Perrie and my relationship is not allowed," Jade said, her voice low and deadly. "If you tell anyone else, or they get a hold of the recording you took of us, we will get in big trouble. Don't tell anyone other than Leigh. I will find out."
Jesy looked taken aback, and a little scared. "Fine, I wasn't planning on telling anyone other then Leigh, and I was only going to tell Leigh to gloat in her face," Jesy said, then she was gone, out the door of the tour bus.
I went over to a window and looked out, and realized that we had arrived at Richmond. I smiled as I saw Jesy sprinting over to her bus, and Leigh Anne's head poke out of the door upon Jesy's arrival.
I turned around, and opened my arms to Jade. She didn't hesitate to go into them, and she buried her head in my shoulder, sighing. I held Jade tightly, and rested my head on the crown of her head. I felt Jade's heartbeat, sure and strong, beating against my chest. My eyelids drooped for the second time today, and I gently disentangled myself from Jade, and instead lacing my fingers through hers.
I padded over to my bunk, Jade trailing behind me. I let go of her hand as I pulled back the sheets and climbed in. Jade slid in beside me, and laid her head on my shoulder, her warm breath hitting my neck. I slid my arms around her, and placed a soft kiss on her temple. "I love you Jade," I whispered as I drifted off to sleep.
I woke up a short time later to an alarm I set, Jade still asleep cocooned in my arms. I smiled at my sleeping beauty, and kissed her cheek gently. "Jadey, we have to get up," I said softly. Jade mumbled something incoherent, and pulled me closer to her. "Jade, come on, wake up love," I whispered, poking her cheek. Jade swatted my hand away as her eyes opened.
"Hey beautiful," I whispered, sitting up and getting out of my bunk. "Where are you going?" Jade asked groggily, rubbing her eyes. "We have to get dressed, I set an alarm for 2:30 pm, two hours before we meet to go to our first stop in Richmond," I replied, shrugging off my sweatpants and t-shirt, and pulling a black dress over my head.
"Jade, get moving," I said, starting to brush my hair into its usual bun. A hand stopped my brush, and I turned to see Jade standing there, my elastic and hairbrush in her hands. "Don't, you look beautiful with your hair down," Jade said, smiling. "Alright then," I replied, taking my brush back from Jade, and brushing my hair, leaving it down.
I helped Jade get dressed into a black dress similar to mine, and she allowed me to brush her long caramel colored hair into a half-ponytail. Jade applied some light makeup, and did a twirl for me. "You look beautiful," I said, grabbing her hand. Jade giggled as I led her outside.
"Perrie, why did you set an alarm for two hours before our first stop?" Jade asked. "Because I wanted some city time with a special girl," I said, tugging Jade away from the bus gently, and towards the center of the city. "I should have known," Jade smiled at me, and kissed my cheek. I smiled back at her.
Jade laced her fingers with mine as we walked down the sidewalk, watching the cars pass by. "Ah, here we are," I said, opening the door to a little cafe called "Cafe of Flowers". I walked with Jade up to the counter, and I could see out of the corner of my eye, her looking at the many different types flowers blooming all over the cafe. "This place is beautiful Perrie, how did you find it?" Jade asked.
I chuckled. "I planned this visit in advance. We were coming here, whether we were dating or not." I leaned closer to Jade, my lips brushing her earlobe as I spoke. "It's just a lucky bonus I'm dating you," I whispered. Jade giggled, a light blush covering her face. "I want to surprise you with a drink I'm positive you'll like. I looked up the menu too," I said. "Alright," Jade said, and went to choose a table for us.
"Hello, what can I get for you?" A woman with long brown hair pulled back into a ponytail asked. "I'll have a salted caramel latte, and my girlfriend will have a minty-chocolate twist coffee," I said. "Good choice, the salted caramel's my favorite," the woman smiled, her piercing blue eyes lighting up. I nodded. The woman punched our orders into the cash register. "Your order is $15.68," the woman said. I handed her my credit card.
"Thank you, if you will go sit down, your drinks will be served to you in a minute," the woman said. "Thanks," I replied. I went to sit down with Jade. Jade had chosen a small table for two next to a window with a big flower basket hanging from the ceiling. "I knew you'd choose a table like this," I smiled as I slid into the seat across from Jade. "Yeah, the flowers are gorgeous," Jade replied. "Just like someone I know," I winked at Jade.
"I probably say this too much, but I love you Perrie," Jade whispered. "I love you more," I murmured, leaning across the table toward Jade. "Impossible," Jade whispered, and closed the gap between our lips. The kiss was short and sweet. We both pulled away, smiled at each other, and sat back in our seat. Our hands found each other's, and they held each other across the table as we watched the life outside.
"Here are your drinks." We turned to see the woman who had taken our order smiling at me. "Thank you," I said, taking the drinks from her. "No problem-Jade?" The woman said. I looked over at Jade, confused. Jade's mouth had fallen open, and tears were forming in her eyes. She squeezed my hand hard, and didn't stop.
"Danielle?" Jade whispered.
