CHAPTER 5

Josh just asked if he could kiss me. I'm in shock, I've wanted this for so long.

"O-Oh! Of c-course you c-can." I stumble over my words.

Josh smiles in what looks like relief, then reaches over to touch my cheek. He leans in all the way and we are engulfed in the kiss. It's amazing, I can't get over his lips on mine....

Suddenly Josh kisses me harder and I have to hold onto his hair to keep from falling over. He pulls away from the kiss slowly, his lips swollen and cheeks tinted pink. Beautiful.

Josh sits there saying nothing for a while, and I start to get worried. Did he like it? Was I good? Of course you went good at it. He probably doesn't even like you...he probably only kissed you because he pitys you.

In that same moment he speaks. "I really loved that...." He says shyly.
I smile proudly. Maybe he does like me.

"I loved that to...."

Josh snaps his head up and looks into my eyes. "Tyler, I loved that. I want to be with you, like, relationship wise. You make me so damn happy. Your all that goes thru my head 24/7. I've never felt this way with anybody...." He says the last part quietly.

And I can't help it. I burst into tears and hug him and thank him for saying all these nice things to me and being my friend when I didn't have any. I apologize for being weird and boring and emotional. He looks at me crazily.

"Tyler, I love all of your flaws. Your perfect to me in every possible way."

I sniff. "Thank you josh."

He looks like he's debating whether or not he should say something. Finally he just comes out with it.

"Tyty?"

"Yes jish?"

"Can you-I mean would you, like to maybe go out with me?" He squeaks out.

I look at him and throw my arms around him a second time.

"YESIWOULDLOVETOJISHIWA!!!!!!"

I laughs and kisses my nose, and sighs.

"Thanks ty."

"For what?"

He looks down as if it's obvious. "For saying yes, duh."

I giggle and move towards him. "Anytime."
