Me and Josh have been texting back to back all day long. It's hard to believe he asked me out, yesterday I woke up forgetting that he did and when I opened my phone there was a text from him. It said 'hey baby' and I almost died of shock before I remembered.

Jish: you should tell your mom about me

Tyty❤:why?

Jish:So I can meet her this Wednesday....if that's okay with you?

I think about this. I've never told my mom I was gay, it never came up. How would she react when she found out? She never said she had anything against gay people......

Tyty❤: okay this weekday then lol

Jish: I look forward to it💖

Tyty❤: as do I 💖

(May be a slight trigger warning)

I finally have enough nerves to go tell my mom. It took two hours, but it was worth it.

I walk down the hallway and turn the corner. Surprisingly, she's not in the kitchen like she usually is. Maybe the living room?

I walk to the living room slowly, starting to doubt myself. What if she doesn't support me? What if she kick me out of the house? What if she hates me?

As I enter the living room I see my mom sitting on the couch reading a book. I take a deep breath and walk over to her.

"Hey mom."

"Hey tyler, what's wrong?"

"What do you mean?"

"Well its just that your sweating and trembling."

I look at my hands. They are shaking really bad. I wipe off my sweat.

"I-it's nothing mom. I just t-think we need to t-talk."

"Well now I no somethings wrong, you studder a lot when you lie, but go on with what you where saying."

I freeze, and my whole mind just goes blank. I forgot what we were talking about. Ugh, I feel like an idiot.

"Well-er, w-what were we talking about?" I squeak.

She rolls her eyes and sighs loudly. "You said, I quote, 'mom, we need to talk about something' then you just went blank."

Ahhhh, I remember now. "Well, mom, I think I want you to meet someone, very special to me."

Her eyes light up when I say this. "Oh! Do you have a girlfriend?! I would love to meet her!"

"Well mom, umm, I am in a relationship, and my significant other would love to meet you."

"And I would absolutely love to meet her! When can we meet?"

I start to shake again. Here goes nothing. "Mom, she is a he." I say quietly.

She looks confused. "I-I'm sorry tyler, but I don't think I heard you right. Could you please repeat yourself, maybe a bit louder this time?"

I sigh. "I said, she is a he."

She stares at me as if I grew another head, then starts laughing loudly. " Oh Tyler! That's so funny, you really scared me for a second!"

I feel so incredibly hurt by this. "No, mom, I'm not playing. I'm gay."

She stares at me, serious this time. "No, your not."

"Yes I am."

"I DIDN'T RAISE YOU TO BE THIS WAY DAMMIT YOU ARE NOT GAY! I WILL NOT HAVE YOU RUINING THIS FAMILY NAME!" She screams.

"Mom please! Don't be like this, I can't change who I am!" I plead.

"You will, or you will leave this house and never come back. You will live on the streets, i won't give you any money, and you will be alone. I can assure you that."

"Mom, please dont. I love him, I love you!" I am full out sobbing now.

"Break up with him." She says so quietly i almost didn't hear her.

"What? No, no I can't, I cant I-i.......no! Please don't do this to me!"

"You heard me Tyler, break up with him, or else." She walks out of the room and leaves me crying by myself.

All I feel is pain, and numb. It just won't go away.
