After dropping off Seth at his house, we went home. It was really quiet and I was really bored. I wanted to go back to the park, but I don't know what my brothers will say, but I bet it's no after what happened a few days ago. I still want to ask.
"Clara! Come here please!" Jordan yelled for me.
I walked down the stairs wondering what he wanted to talk about with me.
"Sit, Clara. We have to come up with some rules," Jordan said
"Rules?! What am I? 5 years old?!" I yelled. What is he thinking?
"Yes, and don't yell. You can't go out by yourself unless one of us is with you or we see Lisa and/ or Seth." Jordan says.
Well, there goes my chance of going out to the park by myself.
"Your going to be a freshman along with Ryan. If I hear any complaints, you will meet the consequences." Jordan said. I was ready to burst into tears. Why is he making these rules for me? I always behave. Ugh! He is so overprotective!
"If you make physical contact with any of us or any kid at school, you will be in trouble." Jordan said. At this point, I was in tears.
"If there is any foul language in this house, especially in front of Andrew, you're grounded for at lease a week. If-"
I got up and ran to my room, basically sobbing. Just, why would he do such a thing. I closed the door, not too hard, and locked it. I just needed that alone time.
Jordan's POV
When I saw Clara run, I was shocked. What did I do to make her cry? Did I say something without realizing it?
"Jord, what's up with Clair?" Shawn asked.
"I have no clue. All I did was give her some rules," I said. This had to be done.
"Give her some rules?" Shawn asked.
"Yep, I don't know what to do now! But it's for her safety, and at this point, I won't take it back," I said to Shawn. I think all the boys heard me, because they came down the stairs giving me the look like "you did what?!"
"Why would you do that to my twin? I know she almost got raped, but that doesn't mean you should give her rules," Ryan said. It's cute when he sticks up for Clara.
"This is for her safety! And unless you want some rules too, leave this conversation!" I yelled at them. I didn't want to be like this, but I now have to.
"Then let me have some rules with Clara," Ryan said.
"Me too," Aaron said.
"Same here," Andrew said. Well, he has to get separate rules since he is little.
"I want some too," Shawn said.
Colton looked around. I could tell he didn't want any. Then, Shawn nudged him on the arm.
"Fine, same here," Colton said.
"Then let's talk about the rules," I started.
Clara's POV
I was in the corner of my room, crying until I heard Shawn taking to Jordan downstairs. I walked closer to my door, with it being locked, and I heard them speak.
"Give her some rules?" Shawn asked.
"Yep, I don't know what to do now! But it's for her safety, and at this point, I won't take it back," Jordan said. At this point I was crying really hard again. I then heard footsteps going down the stairs.
"Why would you do that to my twin? I know she almost got raped, but that doesn't mean you should give her rules," Ryan said. Thanks, but that won't really help me though.
"This is for her safety! And unless you want some rules too, leave this conversation!" Jordan yelled. He is never like this. I curl up into a ball, still crying.
"Then let me have some rules with Clara," Ryan said. My head snapped up.
What is he doing? One person with rules is enough, besides Andrew.
"Me too," Aaron said.
"Same here," Andrew said.
"I want some too," Shawn said.
There was a pause. What about Colton?!
"Fine, same here," Colton said. I sighed in relief, but I didn't want my brothers to go through this like me.
"Then let's talk about the rules," Jordan started.
What they didn't know is that I was listening to this whole conversation, except their rules. I went to my bed and lied down, facing away from the door. Someone knocked on my door.
"Go away, Jordan," I said.
"Clary? Can I come in?" Andrew asked. Oh man, I love that kid. I stood up and unlocked the door.
"What's up, my little man?" I asked. He giggled.
"Can you make me some waffles?" Andrew asked.
"Sure!" I said. It was maybe 12:00 in the afternoon so I had time. I walked down the stairs, as quietly as I can, mind you that everyone was in their rooms.
"Make us some waffles too!" I heard the boys yell.
Well, I guess I am Cinderella at the moment.
