Clara's POV

He likes me? HE LIKES ME? What does he mean?! Does he like me as a person, or what? I then realized something very important.

"I like you too," I blushed.

Seth's face brightened as soon as i said that. He then tuned his face around, which had me very confused. He then looked back at me, and them hugged me, but it was a different kind of hug.

I hugged him back, and i felt the rest of the world drown out. It felt like Seth and I were the only two people left in this world, and nothing what's going to stop us from hugging.

After a while, Seth let me go, and so did I. We were both blushing harder by then, as we stared into each other's eyes.

"I will see you tomorrow, Clara," Seth said with a beautiful smile on his face.

"I will see you tomorrow," I responded. I felt overwhelmingly happy, but sad that he had to go. I watched him head back to his mom's car. After a small wait, he was gone. I then turned around to head inside my house.

Once I got in, I closed the door, and headed towards my room, but as I was midway there, I noticed that no one was trying to stop me. No one was waiting for me, and most importantly, no one was home. But, why would no one be home?

I put my stuff in my room, then went back downstairs to see if there were any notes or something, saying where my brothers were, but I found nothing. I then got a ping on my phone, checking to see if it was any of my brothers. But after looking at my message, I smiled.

Hey, Clara! I bet your brothers are acting all overprotective since they probably saw us hugging, haha.

I didn't know what to say to Seth. I wasn't sure if I should go along with it, or tell him that no one is home. I decided to go with the truth.

Hey! Actually, no one is home, so my brothers didn't see anything.

I sent him that message, and then headed back upstairs to start my homework. When I got upstairs, I got another ping from my phone.

Do you want me to come over so you're not alone? Wait, why am I asking? I'll be there in 10. My mom is okay with it. We can do some homework together! :)

Wow, I can't believe he's willing to come over! At least I won't be by myself.

Okay! Just knock on the door when you get here, and I'll let you in! Thank you so much, Seth!

I smiled, and went to do some last-minute cleaning, just so that the house isn't so messy. After that, I went to grab my homework. As soon as I was downstairs, I heard a knock on the door. I smiled, and ran to open it. Seth was standing right there, with a beaming smile on his face.

"Welcome to my humble abode," I said. "I'm also sorry for any mess you see."

"Oh, don't worry about it! I know this was just last minute, so it's all good," he reassured. I took him over to the table so we can start working.

"Um, would you like anything?" I asked him.

"Just some water, please," he said politely. I went to the kitchen to get two glasses, then I poured water into them. I then went back to the table and handed him a glass, while he thanked me.

We started working on some math homework. We happen to have the same teacher and subject, but just different periods.

"Hey, Clara, can you solve this problem for me? It's 2i<6u," he explained.
