Seth looked down and didn't smile when I said "hi" to him right away. Then he looked up with a really big grin.
"Yo, what's up, Clara!" He said.
"Why would you do that, Seth? You scared me there for a sec," I said while laughing.
"I wanted to scare you into thinking that something was wrong," he turns to Ryan. "Yo, Ryan, my man, what's cookin'", Seth asked and gave Ryan a high five. Seth turns to Bry.
"Can I have Oreo ice cream, with extra Oreos? Not in a cone please." Seth asked.
"Of course! Let me get their ice cream first. Oh yea, Ryan, your ice cream and Clara's is-"
"Let me pay for their ice cream too," Seth said. That's really sweet of him!
"Oh. Okay, then you're total is $3.39." Bry says.
Seth takes out his wallet and gives Bry a $5 bill. He tells her to keep the change as tip. I love Seth.
Wait! It's not as you think! I mean I love his personality!
Seth takes his ice cream and Ryan and I get ours. We say our "byes" to Bry and start waking to the mall. Seth, unfortunately, had to go home so he said he will see us soon. Once we arrive at the mall, we finish our ice cream.
"For now, let's stick together, and then when you need, um, your stuff, I'll leave you be, okay?" Ryan said. I nodded. I also knew what he meant by stuff.
We walked into Rainbow. I love Rainbow a lot. They have a lot of clothes that are my type. And things are at a good price. I grab a whole bunch of shirts, jeans, tights, and some cool socks I found. I also took a Rainbow gift card and coupon with me. I went to the cash register.
"Okay, this all will be $18.73," the lady said. You see? Cheap! I payed for the clothes and got my receipt.
"Thank you, have a nice day!" I say to the lady. She smiled back and said thank you.
Ryan and I walked out together. I told him I was gonna get my stuff. He went to the mini store next to the one I was at.
I took my time and did what I needed to do. I went to pay for my stuff, when out of the corner of my eye, I thought I saw someone familiar. I asked the register lady if I could hide behind her desk, and I promised her I wouldn't steal from her. She didn't question and said yes. Bless her soul. I went and hid behind her desk. I took out my phone and went to Ryan's contact name.
Me: RYAN!!! JOSEPH IS HERE! PLEASE GET HERE QUICK! IM HIDING BEHIND THE CASH REGISTER!!!
After a couple of seconds, my phone vibrates.
Ryan: Okay, I am coming now. Everything is going to be okay, I promise. Man, am I gonna beat his sorry butt.
I wanted to smile, but I was too scared and stressed to even do so. About a minute later or less, I hear a familiar voice.
"Hello, Clara. It's nice to see you again."
