Everyday that passes
I'm blessed that you're my own.
My heart feels very proud
When I see how much you've grown.
I remember when I held you,
Your tiny hand in mine.
I knew then you were special,
Your lovely smile just shined.
The years have passed so quickly,
Where did time just go?
The more years pass us by,
The more I love you so.
I'm so proud that you're my angel,
So blessed by God above.
To me you're just so cherished,
And very deeply loved.
If ever you should need me
No matter what the day,
Know that I will be there
Beside you I will stay.
As a mother I do realize
The day will one day come,
That you will make a home
When you find the perfect one.
And although you'll be married
Have a daughter or a son,
To me you'll always be
My perfect little one.
