Do you hear that ringing falsetto?
And the big crescendo
As the melodies play on the radio
Full of vibrato?Full of emotions
That cause huge commotions
To crash through our souls like waves on the ocean? This is all my melody,
It is all part of me
And hides me behind its canopy.
And it is as used as can beBecause I pull it back out
To remind me what it was about
When life wasn't overbearing with its loud calls and shouts.
And the feelings weren't an oppressing amount. That melody rings
In the composed harmony
And as the chorus sings
It upturns our hearts' wingsThat used to dive around.
Until that tune was found
And it was a new played sound. And the bruised melody came to a close:
And that flowing music became my overdose
