Have you ever seen the photos
Of the forests lost to timeHave you ever seen the photos
Of the ruins overgrownWhat you cannot see is the hidden.
Hidden waters
Slowly leaking through the cracks with timeOr how they're green
Greener than the trees and growthGreener that the forests and ruins that they are hidden in
Whose depth is too much to be determined by just looking
Maybe I'm just rambling.
That is all.
Or maybe the truth is hidden too deep below the glossy surfaces to be seen
Only words and fractured thoughts to go by
And a belief of the green waters.
