{Henley's POV}

We were finally awoken at around 12:30 by Oakley's mom, "Hey , girls we're here."

Oakley and I shot awake quickly grabbing our suitcases and struggling to carry our bags into the penthouse we would be staying in for the next months. We dragged our bags to the elevators and pressed the floor level we were on, there was a total of 15 floors, we were on floor 11.

"Ok so our room is on the second floor of the room and to the right, as soon as we get their run up and change, we are walking to the beach as soon as we are ready." Oakley said eagerly as the elevator dinged and we both sprinted out and unlocked the door.

We ran as fast as we could with our stuff and made it into the room we would be sharing, there were 4 rooms in total so if we really wanted we could have seperate rooms but we failed to find the fun in that.

We changed into our bathing suits and slathered ourselves in sun screen, we made our way downstairs "Mom we are going to the beach, you wanna come?"

"No I'm going to wait for your sister to get here." Her mom responded looking up at us. Oakley's sister, Dallas, was driving here alone, she was older than the both of us by 4 years, making her 19.

We nodded and said goodbye making our way to the beach which was around a 5 minute walk from the place we were staying at, we walked from the penthouse to the boardwalk to the beach itself.

I absolutely loved this beach, it wasn't overly crowded, don't get me wrong there is a good amount of people on the beach but not to much, which is the reason I was so fond of it.

We set down our towels and the backpacks we had brought, packed with water, our cover ups, phones, food, and what ever else.

I had made Oak come into the ocean with me, it took beggings of "Oak please, let's swim." and "Oaky I will tan with you for hours if you just swim for a little." Finally she had gotten in with me.

I love getting thrown around by the waves, unlike Oakley, but after an hour of swimming she had made me come tan with her, which I didn't mind, I like tanning.

"Come on Henley, I'm ready to get tan." Oak dragged me out and onto the pink beach towel I had brought.

I threw my hair up into a bun and laid face down, I laid there for awhile until I sat up and stretched, I looked around, putting on a pair of sunglasses and laying down on my back until I heard a voice.

"Hi." Was all I heard, I looked up to see a boy, I shook Oakley and she looked up as well.

"Hi." I said standing up to look at the boy face to face, which didn't work because he was at least 5'5, maybe taller, and I was only 5'1.

He smiled at me, "I'm Zach and my friends," he said pointing to the 2 boys watching intently, "are over there."

I smiled back, they seemed nice enough and close enough to our age, "I'm Henley, this is Oakley." I said pointing down to her, she had yet to stand up and I doubt she would.

He waved down to Oak and she waved back, I slid up my sun glasses so they were sitting on the top of my head, he looked over straight into my eyes, "Woah." He whispered to himself.

I furrowed my eyebrows, "What?"

"Your eyes, they're gorgeous, the same color as the ocean." He responded as his face got slightly closer examining my eyes.

I giggled, "Thanks."

He cleared his throat, "Anyway they were wondering- we were wondering if you'd want to chill with us for a little."

I looked at Oakley, raising my eyebrows, "Yeah that would be cool." I answered without getting an answer from her.

I dragged Oakley up as he led us to the rest of his friends, he pointed to the two boys saying a name, "That's Daniel and Corbyn."

I nodded acknowledging each name, "Boys that's Henely and Oakley."

"There are others but they aren't coming for a couple days." The blonde boy, Corbyn, had clarified.

We stood there for a little not really knowing what to do, "How old are you guys?" Oakley had asked looking up.

"I just turned 16." Zach said first.

"17, 18 next year." Daniel nodded up at us (not all of there ages will be correct in this story I want them to be somewhat closer to the girls ages)

"I''m 17, I turn 18 this year." Corbyn said clarifying that he was the oldest of the 3.

"I turn 16 in December." I said looking at Oak.

Oakley nodded at all of there answers, "Oh I'm 15, 16 in January."

"I wanna swim, wanna come?" I looked to Zach, knowing Oakley probably still wanted to tan.

Zach nodded with a smile, "Really? They never wanna swim with me." He looked at Daniel and Corbyn.

"Oakley never wants to swim with me either." I shook my head, I grabbed Zach's hand and we walked to the ocean.

We swam until a wave came, "Henley." Zach said making me turn around.

"Yeah?" I asked looking at him, he smiled picking me up and throwing me into the wave that was coming.

I popped up laughing and we continued to swim for the time being, around 4, Oakley and I had decided it was time to go back to the penthouse.

Before we had packed up all of our stuff, Jack had spoken up, "Are you guys gonna be around tonight?"

We both nodded, "At the board walk, yeah." I answered

"Maybe we'll run into each other again?" Corbyn said in a questioned voice.

I nodded, "Yeah hopefully we will."

We parted ways, looking back I noticed Zach watching me go, I gave a smile and a wave, which he returned, hopefully I'll see him tonight.
