{Henley's POV}

I woke up at the morning after Zach and I's date and immediately gripped my phone from the charger and brought it to my face.

I looked through my notifications finding one from Zach only minutes ago on Instagram.

I stifled a laugh that almost slipped from my lips, since Oakley was still asleep and I didn't want to wake her from her slumber. Waking her would only make the day hard on myself.

Luckily for me she had woken up only minutes after all of my social medias were checked so I wasn't sitting doing nothing for long before Oakley jumped up and made us get ready to go it for breakfast.

"Do you wanna get pancakes?" Oakley asked once she was awake enough to think of today's activities.

I thought about wether I really felt like getting out of bed at the moment, I really didn't, but I nodded anyways because I like to eat.

Her face lit up with a smile and she jumped up to get ready, I followed and swiped my eyelashes with a layer of mascara and was ready to go.

"What are you wearing?" Oakley asked brushing through her naughtier hair.

"This." I replied my hands moving down my body to show off the pajamas I had slept in.

She gave me a look of 'you might want to change' which confused me the slightest.

"I always wear pjs to breakfast?" I said in a question voice to almost see if I was going crazy because I don't remember once going to breakfast in actual clothing.

"I asked the boys if they wanted to come." There she goes again, not telling me details that I would have liked to know before hand.

Still I rolled my eyes in a ridiculous manner.

My shoulders raised slightly before lowering into there original structure, "It's the boys, do I care? And do you really think they are gonna get all ready for breakfast?"

She huffed knowing I was right and hurriedly put on some mascara and we were out the door, both of us wearing plaid pj shorts.

We decided on walking, the temperature had gone down since the heat wave yesterday and the gloomy overcast skies relieved us, we would finally have a break from the humid beach weather.

We walked to a local diner by the name of 'Poppy's' and entered the vibrant mood of the restaurant.

We shuffled our feet to a table that would fit all of us and sat down to wait for the boys.

I heard the bell above the door ring and footsteps pound on the hard floor before a voices had shouted, pretty loud may I add, a chorus of greetings to us.

I smiled and waved at the boys while they all found there seats and talked endlessly about what they would get to eat.

Zach of course fought for his place next to me, to which he succeeded.

"What's on your mind Hen?" Were the first words that he had said to me that day when he looked up from the breakfast menu the waitress had brought over.

"Wether I want chocolate chip or blueberry pancakes." I giggled, making his smile grow bigger.

"How about I get chocolate chip and you get blueberry and we can share." He bit his lip to contain his smile and closed his menu.

"Could we?" My left foot shook rapidly as we discussed the pancake situation.

"Yeah Hen, anything you want." He nodded with the end of his lips twisted up into a grin.

I smiled when I felt his arm wrap around my shoulders and the waitress come back up to ask us for our orders.

We all ordered our breakfast and passed the time with talking and playing on our phones, my focus for the most part was on Zach.

After chatting on and on about the things that only felt right leaving my mouth around Zach, our food came, and we ate fast and quiets since we were to occupied by shoving food in

After a short 10 minutes we were all too full to go on. We paid and all moved out of the diner.

"Wait." Oakley stopped the boys from continuing the way back to there beach house.

They turned around and waited for Oakley to say something.

She thought for a moment, "It's probably gonna rain so do you guys wanna meet up later and do something?"

They nodded and responded with "Yeah." We started to part ways again before my name was yelled.

"Hen!" I whipped around to come face to face with Zach.

He looked me straight in the eyes like always, "Do you really love me?"

My heart quickened as I thought of what to say. After what felt like hours but was only minutes I nodded.

"Yes Zach I really love you."

He grinned and his eyes held a spark that I hadn't noticed before, but maybe the spark was born because of the feeling I had confessed for him at that second.

"I love you too Henley." He said in a quiet raspy voice.

And just like that Zach had gripped his hands around my face and pulled me as close as ever into a kiss that no one except for us would know meant the world.

It was the first "I love you's" that ever slipped out of ours mouths, it wasn't the "I love your eyes." That we had shared before it was the real deal.

And in that moment I knew I really did fall in love with Zach and I knew he really fell in love with me too.
