"I take it you girls are going to the board walk tonight?" Miss Chanson had said as we were sat down eating dinner.
Oakley nodded, "Yeah, I was thinking around 8:30 we go."
Taking a bite of the fruit I had cut up, I nodded, "Yeah I like going when it's getting dark."
"What shops are you guys interested in going to tonight?" Her mom questioned putting her plate in the sink.
I thought about it for a couple seconds, "I wanna go to the book shop."
Her mom nodded "Well we should get ready." Oakley muttered grabbing my arm and running up the stairs.
I sighed digging through my bag "Have you got a clue what you're wearing?"
"No I'm doing hair first then mascara, I'll pick clothes last." She shrugged looking back into the bathroom mirror.
I nodded, I guess I'll start off with mascara, I applied some, "I think I'm just gonna throw my hair up in a messy bun."
She nodded, "I'm straightening mine."
Finally after getting my hair and mascara the way I wanted it I decided I'd just throw on some jean shorts and a thin hoodie taking into consideration that it would get chillier tonight.
As the clock read 8:34 we were ready to leave, we said goodbye to Miss.Chanson and Dallas who had arrived around an hour ago.
We made our way to the board walk, we looked in some shops but decided to leave the book shop for last because it would probably take the longest for me to pick a book out.
"Wanna go down to the beach?" I asked Oakley as we left one of the thousands of shops on the beach.
She nodded and we made our way down the stairs and onto the sand.
"Let's take pictures." I squealed throwing my phone to her and snapping a few photos.
After hundreds of photos I decided to post one.

I put my phone back in my pocket and we walked back up to the board walk to look at more stores.
"Hey Henley!" I heard a boy called my name, turning around I saw Zach.
