My music was almost fully flushed out as I held my head under the warm water. My eyes were closed as I popped my head back up, rubbing the water out of my eyes.
"Henley, come on you have to pack!" My mother yelled knocking on the bathroom door slightly.
"Ok just a little longer." I closed my eyes again dunking under the water for the last time before climbing out and rapping a towel around my head and body.
Walking out of my bathroom and into my bedroom I saw my mom pulling a black suit case out of my closet.
"Mom do I look cute?" I asked making a kissy face at her she glanced at me quickly.
"Yeah, adorable now pack." She left the bag sitting on my bed zipped open and ready to be packed.
She left as I got dressed and brushed through my wet hair, I sighed knowing I had to pack now because Oakley would be here to pick me up for the beach at 5 in the morning and it was midnight.
I packed all of my necessities with in an hour, "I packed mom!" I screamed as I skipped down stairs.
She looked up from her book and nodded, I sat next to her laying my head in her shoulder "I'm so exited." I shouted
"Now when are you coming back?" My dad asked from the other couch.
"Not until August 30th." He nodded as I told him, it was only June 12th,I wouldn't see my parents for the rest of the Summer.
We had slight conversation until I walked back upstairs to sleep for the time remaining, which was only around 2 and a half hours.
I plugged in my phone leaving it on the night stand and finally fell asleep.

My alarm went off at 4:45 and I got up to drag my bags downstairs and wake my parents to wait with me until I was on my way.
Finally after watching late night TV with my parents Oakley and her mom had shown up. They came to the door and Oakley and I packed my bags in the trunk as my parents and her mom talked.
I walked back up the porch to my house, "We're ready mom!" My friend had shouted as I hugged my parents goodbye.
"Alright be good, have good manners, all of that Bub." My dad hugged me and kissed my forehead.
"Yeah don't loose anything too, we'll miss you Hen." I kissed and hugged my mom.
"I'll call every night and send you pictures." I smiled as I made my way off the porch waving.
The three of us got into the car and ready for the long car ride ahead of us.
"I'm so ready to meet some hot beach boys." Oakley stretched as her mom look back at us.
"Is that all you think about?" Her mom had questioned pulling out of the drive way.
"Pretty much." I answered for her and put in a pair of head phones drowning out the two talking.
After taking a short nap, stopping at a McDonald's and talking about the beach with Oakley, I whipped out my phone taking a picture and posting it on instagram.

"Alright well I'm sleeping the rest of the way." Oakley yawned fluffing her pillow and closing her eyes.
I chuckled the slightest knowing there wasn't anyway she was gonna sleep the rest of the way, but I ended up falling asleep too.
