Chapter 14

{Zach's POV}

We got back to our beach house after the boys had bombarded me with questions and Jonah giving me a talk on wether or not I really love her.

"You barely even know her!" He waved his hands around, Corbyn unlocked the door and we all walked in.

I rolled my eyes and shook my head not saying a word as we stepped into the living room and saw my parents and Jack's.

"Hey boys where have you been?" My mom said seeing as it was around 2:30 in the morning.

"Zach was on a date until 2 so that's why we are so late." Jack snorted and walked to the kitchen.

My mom and dad looked at me with a sense of shock as well as Jack's parents.

"Until 2? What were you doing all that time?" My dad asked tilting his head to the side.

"We swam and found a cave." I summarized the activities of the night not wanting to tell them every single detail of the night.

"For that long Zach?" They interrogated me further.

I shook my head, "Yeah for that long, what do you think I did?"

"They think you participated in sexual activities with her!" Jack yelled from the kitchen making the boys laugh.

As Jack's dad scolded him on interrupting the conversation that was going on between my parents and I.

"I didn't have sex." I groaned running my hands over my face, hating this conversation especially when my friends were there.

Jonah laughed and I glared at him making him laugh slightly harder.

"If we find out you've been doing anything like that you'll be grounded." My mom raised her eyebrows at me.

I mumbled a, "Whatever." Before making my way upstairs into the bedroom I shared with Daniel and Corbyn.

The boys came up not long after and pestered me about the date the whole time now realizing that we were gone a very long time, alone.

"And you are sure you didn't do anything?" Corbyn pushed as they all gathered around my bed.

I grabbed my phone and nodded, "Yes I'm sure."

But the boys weren't done asking questions there, asking stupid questions over and over until I answered them.

"What did you do?"

I shrugged, "A few things." I commented not wanting to give up what we did last night, it felt as if it was a secret, one that only Henley and I would understand.

They all groaned and stomped around at my blunt answer.

"Just tell us bro." They inquired

I flipped around so my head was now in the pillow, "We went cliff jumping."

"And..? What else? You weren't doing that for like 6 hours."

"We found a cave and watched the stars and talked and danced in the damn rain." I rambled on hoping they wouldn't hear.

I heard them all chuckle.

"So did you at least kiss her?"

"It's not even about that, I like her and what the hell am I suppose to do?" I yearned for the answer that maybe one of the boys held.

"What do you mean, just ask her to be official or something, she likes you." Jonah said as if it was the easiest thing in the world.

"Are you forgetting that she lives in California? Zach lives in Texas." Dani figured out the problem.

"Long distance, that's what Christina and I do." Corbyn said, and I felt bad, I knew he missed her, I knew he hurt.

"Yeah and how does that feel Corbyn?" I snapped falling back on my bed.

They all looked at me, not sure what to say they just watched me.

I rubbed my hands on my face, "Forget it ok? Let's just sleep."

They nodded and Jonah and Jack left to go to there bed room.

"Goodnight boys." Dani said shutting off the lamp making the room go pitch black.

Then I fell asleep drowned in my own thoughts.
