{Henley's POV}

As Oakley and I were walking away from the boys she grabbed my arm.

"What the hell was that?" Oakley whispered leaning close to my ear.

I bit the inside of my lip, "I don't know Oak it was a kiss, no big deal."

She took a deep breath, "You've known him for a day."

I looked at her as we were nearing the hotel "We made out on the beach."

She looked at me, her eyes wide, "What do you mean."

I rolled my eyes, "What do you mean what do I mean?"

She rubbed her face while we walked into the elevator, "I can't believe you Hen."

I laughed walking in through the door to our apartment.

We went upstairs and changed into our pajamas, "I'm hungry."

I got up from my bed, "I'll make you mac and cheese." I said as she held out her hand signaling for me to pull her up from her own bed.

We walked downstairs and turned in the lights, "Where's Dallas and your mom?"

She shrugged, "Probably at Lucile's."

I looked at her confused as I put water in the pot, "Lucile lives back in California."

She nodded, "She rented a beach house here the same time we did."

Lucile was a friend of Mrs.Chanson's back home in California, where we live, I guess it turns out Oak's mom and Lucile planned a beach trip the same time so they could have some mom bonding.

I nodded pouring in the box of uncooked noodles.

We sat in the kitchen until the food was ready and we went into the lodge since no one else was at the apartment with us.

"I bet they're sleeping at Lucile's." Oakley muttered out with a mouth full of food.

"Yeah, probably." I replied turning the channel on the tv to another horror movie.

We finished our food and set them in the sink to clean in the morning, but we went back and continued watching whatever movie that was playing in the lodge.

"So what's with Zach." Oakley had brought up again.

I shrugged not knowing myself what was going on.

"You know what?" Oakley gasped as she spoke.

"What?"

"Mom and Dallas won't be back until at least 2 o'clock tomorrow, the boys should stay over."

"Yeah but I'll blame it on you if they come back early." I said as Oakley whipped out her phone to Snapchat one of the boys.

After 10 minutes of Oakley and Corbyn snap chatting back and forth she told me that they would be over in 5 minutes.

I looked down at my pjs, I had on a big grey t shirt and plaid shorts, I was ok with that.

Soon enough we heard a knock at the door, Oakley was upstairs changing so that left me to open the door.

I unlocked the door and opened it widely, "Hey."

"Hey Hen." Danny said kicking off his shoes as Corbyn and Zach had followed in behind.

I smiled leading them into the lodge where we would be for the remainder of the night.

I sat down one of the 2 couches in the room, "Oakley's changing she'll be down."

Not a second after Oakley came running down the stairs diving into the couch opposite from me.

We decided to begin another horror movie because that's all Oak and I ever watch at the beach.

Zach sat next to me, then Corbyn next to Zach and Daniel and Oak on the other couch.

We turned the lights off so the only light in the room was the tv. Zach threw an arm around me, pressing a kiss below my ear making me giggle slightly.

I leaned into him more watching the movie. Until I got up to go to the kitchen.

"I'm going to find something to eat." I stood up stretching

"We ate mac and cheese." Oakley said sitting up on the couch.

"I'm gonna cut the pineapple." I rubbed my eyes walking to the kitchen that was totally separated from the lodge.

I grabbed a knife from the drawer and the pineapple that was sitting on the wooden counter top.

I mostly came in the kitchen to think, I mean Zach and I, what even are we? Is it a summer fling or a real thing? Honestly I don't know. I've known the kid for 2 days so far and we already shoved our tongues down each others throats.

I looked down at the pineapple as I cut it until I heard footsteps trail into the kitchen.

I turned around to come face to face with Zach.

"Hey." He said with a sweet smile.

I gave him a toothless grin, "Hi."

He stared at me for a few seconds, "What-what are we?"

I took a deep breath in and shrugged, "I don't know."

He looked down then back up, his eyes locking on mine he tilted his head and pressed our lips together.

His tongue slid in my mouth like it once did only a few hours prior and his hands laid on my hips as mine cupped his face.

Pulling me closer his hands slid to the back of my thighs as he lifted me up on an empty counter making me slightly taller than him.

I pulled away looking at him, noticing the way he always looked me in the eyes, I can't remember once that he looked at me without making direct contact, even at this very moment, he stared into my eyes.

"You know Hen, they say that if you fall in love with someone's eyes you'll be in love forever because eyes are the only things that don't age." He whispered, his face only centimeters from mine.

He sighed, "I love your eyes."
