Matt switched his phone back on, and it wasn't long until a smile grew on matt's face, as he saw the dm box pop up. blondy.howard_xo had messaged him. This was his chance to make some new friends. He followed the user back and looked at his account. "hmm. hes pretty cute." Matt said aloud, blushing and wondering why he was already thinking such things.
blondy.howard_xo Hi! I see you like Rage and Queen! They're my favourite bands as well :D
Matt let out a nervous sigh, thinking long and hard about how he could start a conversation without seeming cringey and desperate for company. In the end he just went with it.

He let out a relieved huff as the guy was typing again. "At least i didnt scare him off, thats a good sign." Matt mumbled happily. He really wanted to make friends with this boy. Even though they had just sent a few messages to each other, he already felt a connection.
