"Dom come on man! Concentrate!" Dom registered his friend's words and snapped out of his daydream. He'd met Chris at his new school, and within a few days they had bonded like glue. They shared the same music taste, same hobbies, even lived round the corner from each other. Chris had instantly become Dom's new best friend. "What's gotten into you? You're away on Mars!" The bigger lad giggled, reaching over the drumkit to ruffle Dom's hair. Dom flinched playfully and returned a goofy smile, stating he was simply tired. Adjusting the positioning of the seat, he wriggled his little arse back onto it.
"Yeah, I'm just tired. Don't worry 'bout me." Dom said, tapping the cymbal a couple times before jamming up a beat.Looking up, Dom saw Chris giggling and giving him "that look".
"What?" Dom chuckled and stopped noodling on the drums, cheekily hitting Chris' arm with his stick.
"There's something else as well isn't there?" Chris said, walking over to sit on Dom's bass drum - cocking his head slightly at the smaller blonde. Sighing, Dom looked up at his friend and scratched his head.
"Well... there's this boy, and I didn't think I was gay, but I really like him.. I-In that way."
Chris sat up from the bass drum and looked at Dom nonchalantly for a couple of seconds, before bursting out into spontaneous fits of laughter - causing the blonde to do the same.
"That's cute, who is he?" Chris giggled, settling down again.
"A dude called Matt, uhh M-Matt Bellamy. I met him on Instagram." Dom grinned shyly, scratching the back of his neck and colouring up a considerable amount.
"Really? Can I see?" The brown haired lad asked, moving up to sit practically on Dom's lap."I mean he's actually really adorable, I thought it would be one of your weirdo crushes again." Chris snorted, turning the phone screen towards him to look at the picture of Matt on Dom's home screen. "How old is he?"
Dom looked up at his friend perched on his knee and smiled, laughing at the remark about his 'weirdo crushes'.
"Yeah, he is adorable, I really like him. He said he's out though, and I've been busy all day." Dom sighed, wishing he could talk with Matt again. "And he's 16, same age as you."
"That's not that bad then, good lad!" Chris smiled and patted Dom's back, making them both laugh.
"Okay, now I've spilled my deepest darkest secret, let's get on with practice." Dom smirked and chuckled.
