As Matt lay in his cold bed, his desolate mind space became a flurry of rapid thoughts.
..Was Dom flirting with me earlier?..
..Does that mean Dom loves me?..
..But how could he love me?..
Matt was a small, skinny wanker with literally no social skills, barely any talents, and a wonky as fuck tooth. How could young Dominic Howard - a fucking godsend - possibly like a weed like him in any way?
Matt cleared his throat and spoke lowly.
"Why though..?"
He got up, stretching and peering out the small window in his empty room. Still dark. He looked at the time on his phone - 3:15am.
"Fuck." he sighed, coming away from the window and stumbling to reach his chair. Exasperated, he sat crouched with his head hung in his hands.
"Internet relationships never last, it would just be way too stressful for both of us. And that depends if he even likes me."
He swivelled round in his chair, facing the small desk illuminated by the pale, porcelain moonlight."Dom is out of my fucking league..! I mean, my god I'm surprised he even thinks I'm on his level." Matt mumbled, starting to doodle on a stray sheet of paper. He often doodled while talking to himself. "His eyes? Not even the bloody moon could compare. And his teeth??"
he let out a small chuckle,
"I mean damn, I'd let him bite me with them."
He stuck his tongue out as he concentrated on drawing and continued his one way conversation. "His hair looks oh-so-fluffy, I just want to be near him to run my hands through it. A-And his voice, I could listen to it all day..!" He mused, all colour draining from his face when he heard the floorboards outside his door creak. Matt groaned as he realised whoever was out there heard everything he said.
