"Like the Greek goddess?" Kid Flash asked. She nodded and tucked a loose strand of hair behind her ear.
"You think the Shadows will find us?" He asked. The blonde knew that the League of Shadows weren't stupid. They're probably trying to track her right now. Artemis had ditched her tracker before they left, but they would find her anyway.
And when they did, she would have to suffer the consequences. This is exactly why she was against Kid Flash taking her here. He would just get caught in the crossfire and get killed along with her. But he's just so...
"Hello? Earth to Arty. Artemis?" Kid Flash said, waving his hand in her face. The archer slapped his hand away.
"Stop that," She chided.
"I just have a bad feeling–" Artemis began to explain, but got cut off by an explosion. It sends the two teens flying backwards. Artemis and Kid Flash lay on the ground unconscious.
A masked man walked up to them. He smirked behind his mask and carried Artemis over his shoulder.
"I'm sorry, baby girl, but you leave us no choice," He said to her as he dragged Kid Flash's knocked out body away.
