Iris's P.O.V
Okay I know I told Barry that I would drop the story but I can't! It's just to important and more people need to be aware. Plus getting more information on these guys would really help the cops and Barry. And it's not fair that my dad and Barry get to go out there and risk their lives every single day while I just sit back and watch. So in a way, I am just doing him a favor... right? Well either way, it's time for me to get ready for work.
Hmmm, what to wear what to wear. Should I wear the blue jeans with my white v neck shirt and a thin green trench coat? Or should I wear the gray jeans with the cream colored cowl neck shirt and the thin green trench coat? Decisions decisions. Mmmmm, definitely outfit number two, yeah outfit number two. But now the question is, what should I eat for breakfast? Cereal or a blueberry muffin? Cereal or blueberry muffin? Blueberry or- bluebarry. Yeah definitely bluebarry. (See what I did there? Haha, I'm so funny.) Now I just need shoes. Tan or black flats? Tan or bla- okay this is going to take a while!

I walked through the doors of the CCN and saw that only three people had shown up to work today including me. Where did everyone go? "Hey boss, do you know where, well everyone is? Did I miss something?" My boss looked up at me from his mountain of papers and said, "I was wondering the same thing. Is there like some sort of 'cool kid' holiday today?" A confused look spread across my face and I thought about it for a minute. "No I don't think so. " I shook my head. His eyebrows knitted together and an angry frown spread across his lips. "Well wherever they are, they are not going to get paid for anything today. I haven't received a single email notifying me that anyone was going to be gone." I stepped back, he was definitely getting frustrated. My boss was not the most cheerful person in the world. I tried to just keep calm and slowly backed away to avoid getting yelled at.
I sat down at my desk and got to work. For the first half hour I was ferociously typing trying to find some information on the Five Ferocious Fighters- or Triple F. It was hard getting any information because half of the sites were fake and the other half were top secret police sites. I let out a frustrated sigh as I leaned my head against my hand. I need a break. I wonder what Barry is doing right now. Then my thoughts were interrupted by my boss. "So what are you working on?" I looked up at him and quickly sat up so I could straighten my clothes. I hope I don't look like a slob! I didn't even realize I was slouching. How long has he been watching me? Oh crap he is still waiting for me to answer. I quickly had to try and recall what he said. "Uh- oh, I'm working on an article about the Triple F." I stuttered and nodded my head.
He seemed amused and confused at the same time. "The Triple F?" He slowly said. My eyes got really wide realizing that no one except Cisco called them that. "Oh, I meant the Five Ferocious Fighters. Triple F is just a nickname." He nodded his head and went back to hsi not so cheerful self. "Uh huh, and how is it going?" I looked at my computer screen and sighed. "Not so well; all of the resources are either for cops only or they are fakes. It is kind of frustrating." His eyebrows knitted together and he nodded his head again. "Sounds frustrating, well I wanted to thank you for coming in today when almost no one else showed up. I was going to have this but it looks like you need it more then I do. Here," He held out a Snickers bar. "You're not you when your hungry." I looked at the piece of candy and laughed a little. "Thanks!" I said as I took the piece of candy.
He started to walk away but then quickly turned around. "Oh hey Iris, did you say most of those sites were for police only?" I spun my chair around to face him. "Yeah." I said. "Well isn't your dad a cop?" My eyebrows knit together. "Yeah." I said. "Well couldn't you just ask him for some information?" I looked off into space for a little bit. I know my boss is just trying to be helpful, I also know that I can't just go walk into my dads office and ask for information on something my dad would never let me look into. Unless.. "Yeah, yeah I just might do that. Thanks boss." He nodded and walked away.
As soon as he left I packed up my stuff and headed to CCPD. I put the snickers bar in my purse for later because I didn't have time to eat it now.

Just as I suspected, no one was at the CCPD either. Wherever everyone went it was happening everywhere. Which I didn't mind because I could get some work done. Now I just needed to find my dads desk and get to his computer. It was in the back of the building near the window as it always was. I sat down and turned it on. Instead of making a regular computer noise it started making a pattern of weird beeping noises. At first I was scared that I had triggered some sort of alarm but then it went to the home screen. It asked for my dads login information. Luckily I knew everything, except the password.
Hmmm, Francine? DENIED. Ummm, Iris? DENIED. Uhh Flash? DENIED. Flash with no capitol? DENIED. Come on think Iris think, superherodad? ACCEPTED. A smirk spread across my lips and I quickly typed in 'The Five Ferocious Fighters'. I got lot's of results right away. I began to evaluate them all to see which ones were the most credible but then I realized that I was looking at police information so I was probably good. There was so much information to take in that I knew I wouldn't have time to read it all here before someone came back and found me. I decided to just print them all.
While they were printing I got to thinking. I wonder what kind of information is in those documents. I hope none of it is super classified evidence. Is what I'm doing even legal? Well I am the daughter of a cop, plus I am in his account so everyone who looks at this will think that it's him and not me. Unless they look at the security footage. Oh no! Are there security cameras in this room? Am I going to get caught? No no no it's okay Iris! Everything will be fine! Plus the Flash is your boyfriend so he can always save you or cover for you. Barry won't be mad will he? Then my thoughts were stopped when I heard someone walking down the stairs.
The papers had just finished printing so a snatched them from their spot on the printer and stuffed them in my bag. I started speed walking to the exit. I wanted to bolt out of the police station but I knew that would look suspicious so I compromised and started speed walking. Luckily I made it out without being spotted!
Sweet! I have all the information I need and I didn't get caught. This day wasn't so bad after all. I was on my way back to work when my phone buzzed. I shuffled it out of my pocket and read the notification. Date with Barry at 6! I had almost forgotten about Barry. I then realized I only had five hours till the date. I decided it would be best to drop the paper off at work and then head home so that I could fully shower and get dressed without feeling rushed or stressed because of work.
Hey guys! Sooo what did you think? Do you think Iris will get in trouble for digging into the story when she said she wouldn't? I have an IMPORTANT question:
Should I do Iris' view on the date and then Barry's? Or should I just do one? And if so which one? I need feedback otherwise I will have to make this decision on my own. ;) comment your thoughts.
