Ladybug was not used to Chat Noir acting so weird, but none the less here they were- in the middle of a patrol. With him randomly glancing at her, before looking away and whistling like he hadn't been doing anything at all.
"Chat!" She exploded, grabbing him by his tail to get his attention,"What is it?" She demanded with a stern look on her face.
He gulped nervously,"Er, what do you mean?"
She raised an eyebrow at him,"What do you think I mean?"
He desperately looked for a way to turn the conversation,"I heard that Adrien Agreste kid is a real fan of us, y'know has a whole closet of Ladybug merchandise," he glanced at her face.
He was happy to note that she seemed surprised, yet hopeful at the same time,"R-really? Do you think he..." She trailed off with a happy sigh, making Chat cock an eyebrow at her. She and Marinette seemed to both feel the same way about his civilian-self. Frustratingly.
But he might as well get her to at least be with one of his egos.
"Well, I could've sworn I'd heard that he had a Ladybug plushie..."
She gave an excited gasp,"Tell me more!" Chat's face suddenly went beet red, he hadn't thought his lady had this big of a crush...
"Er, well.... he follows all of the LadyBlog's updates, and actually seemed pretty disappointed that he couldn't see us at the Annual Baking Festival-"
"How do you know all this?" Ladybug frowned, suspicion lacing her tone.
He hesitated, unsure of what to say,"I... am actually friends with him, that's how I knew about the security system when we were fighting Simon Says," he scratched the back of his head.
Ladybug stumbled backwards,"WHAT?! Y-you....are f-friends w-with..."
"Adrien Agreste?" He supplied patiently. She nodded her head.
"Yeah... and you're friends with that Marinette girl-"
"Oh that reminds me, that Marinette girl told me how you visit quite a lot," She crossed her arms, making Chat wonder how his plan had crumbled so quickly.
"Is that jealousy M'lady?" He asked with a smirk, leaning closer to her.
She scoffed,"Dream on Kitty, and I think you may already know that she is only interested in one person anyways."
He waved her off,"And so are you, from what I gather."
With those final words he jumped away, leaving Ladybug completely confused as of to what had just happened. She'd only meant to ask him why he was whistling and glancing at her so much...
