The villain didn't see Marinette's transformation, but Chat did.
He couldn't move, or even blink, he was so shocked. Yet...ecstatic at the same time. He'd found his lady! The girl who he loved, was the girl who'd loved him.
''Hey! I don't think it's nice to mess with other people's cats," Ladybug called out with a glint in her eyes.
Spinning around, the villain grinned,''The heroine of Paris comes out at last!"
"And the villains of Paris come to cause trouble," She responded, only focusing on him. She couldn't summon the courage to even look at Chat.
Flipping in the air so he landed next to her, Chat Noir winked,''Great timing M'lady."
She smirked at him,''Hope you're not too disappointed Kitty,'' She patted his head teasingly.
Disappointed? Chat thought in astonishment, Is that why she didn't want me to know...she's embarrassed?
''I'd never be disappointed by you," He said seriously, causing her to blush furiously.
''Well if that cat is done with his love-bug, I have some miraculous to steal," The villain's voice brought them both out of their thoughts.
''I'm not his-" Ladybug stuttered out, but Chat interrupted with, ''-Certainly." She glared at him, but it didn't last long due to his winking at her again.
''Ready Chat Noir?" Ladybug asked, getting into a fighting stance.
''Always, My lady," He responded with a grin, also getting ready to fight.
''Chat! I said Left!" Ladybug groaned in irritation, Was he purposely making this harder? They had almost gotten the akuma, but Chat's miscalculation had put a damper on that. She had used her Luckycharm, and now it was only a matter of getting close enough to use it.
''I'll get those Miraculous if I have to take them from your dead bodies!!" The villain shouted in anger, charging Ladybug.
Using her yo-yo to block didn't work as well as usual, mostly because the villain pulled out a weapon that was hard to counter.
Just as Chat got back in the fight, Ladybug was shoved out.
Or more accurately, shoved off the building.
''LB!!" Chat launched himself over the side just in time to catch her. She blinked, and suddenly she was in his arms. A beeping noise caught her attention for a moment.
''I'm going to-" She detransformed before she could even finish her sentence.
''Tell me what to do, I'll finish him off with the Luckycharm-" Chat offered.
''No," She stopped him,''With or without the mask, I'm Ladybug. And I'm going to be there for my partner."
''Always so stubborn," He sighed, but was secretly memorizing her expression when she said those words. She looks stunning when she's determined... was his only thought.
''Pound it!" Marinette and Chat Noir did their traditional fist bump. And then Chat's ring began to beep.
''Uh... there's something I really need to tell you..." He scratched the back of his head, not quite sure how to break it to her. Though the fact that her room was covered in pictures of him, gave him a little hope.
"Your ring-" She was interrupted by his detransformation. Bright green blinded her for a moment, and then before her was a all-too-familiar boy.
''My lady," Adrien Agreste said, giving a small bow with a shy smile.
At a loss for words, Marinette felt very light-headed. Adrien, her Adrien... was Chat Noir?!
''About time," Plagg exclaimed.
''Adrien and Marinette, means I win," Tikki cheered, popping out of Marinette's clutch.
''No way! It was Marichat first!"
''Right now, where they both know- is Adrienette!!"
''Wha-'' Adrien and Marinette stared at their kwamis with confused expressions.
''Do I want to know?" Mari asked, only to get Adrien's reply of-''No, you don't. Trust me."
''Anyways..." Adrien said, looking at Marinette- who immediately flushed,"You love me, and I love you.''
She nearly fainted on the spot,"I- er, well...uh- okay," She gave a nervous laugh. "I mean!" Face-palming, she sighed at her stuttering.
But he merely laughed,"Does M'lady care if I-"
"JUST KISS HER ALREADY!!" Tikki shouted, impatiently tapping her foot in the air.
"Wait- turn into Chat Noir first!" Plagg exclaimed.
"No! I've wanted them together since I first saw Marinette kissing her posters of him!"
"Well I've wanted them to be together since I saw the poor boy talking to his pictures of Ladybug on his computer!"
Neither teenager could look at each other as their secrets were spilled by Plagg and Tikki's arguing.
"Do you really...?" Marinette asked, causing Adrien to blush.
''Y-yeah..." He trailed off in embarrassment.
Marinette took a deep breath, she was daring as Ladybug- she could be as Marinette too. She would be.
"Adrien?" She asked, looking up at him. Just as he looked at her, she forced herself to move- and kiss him right on the lips.
It lasted for several seconds, before she pulled away- blushing like a fire-truck engine. Meanwhile Adrien...was in shock. A blissful shock, that took him a minute to snap out of.
When he did, he grabbed the black-haired girl and pulled her to him for another kiss.
Tikki and Plagg sat there watching, open-mouthed for several minutes.
"Y'know, maybe now we have a better chance of taking down Hawkmoth. Now that we've gotten this outta the way..." Marinette said, to which Adrien honestly agreed. It would be less complicated now...

I sincerely hope no Adrienette fans had heart-attacks. And yes, there is an Epilogue up next ;)
