"My sin was not this or that, but consisted of having shaken hands with the Devil. The Devil held me in his clutches, the enemy was behind me." -Hermain Hesse

Seokjin winced as Aurora tended to his wounds, running warm water along the damaged flesh before wiping the surface clean. Seokjin grimaced to see the amount of blood on the towel she was using to clean his wounds. Aurora was washing a particularly bad slash wound on his ribs that was inflicted by Hoseok.

"I saw Namjoon today." Seokjin said, his voice cracking from emotion as he stood up.

"It's okay, I understand." She said gently, cleaning the blood away from his back. She knew her brother's feelings towards Namjoon were complicated, so she knew better than to question him.

"No, that's not it Aurora. He wasn't himself today; he was so angry, so full of hate. I-" He rambled before bursting into tears. Aurora sighed as she washed off any remaining blood. She hated seeing her brother like this, it was awful.

"We'll get him back, I promise." She said as she started to wrap the bandages around his torso. She wrapped one bandage from his right shoulder down to his left rib and another around his stomach. She then wrapped up another slash on his left bicep and one on his right forearm which luckily just a graze.

"I don't know if I can do this anymore." He said, ending in a whimper. Aurora helped him his bedroom, but Jin couldn't help but notice the tears dotting the corners of her eyes.

"Aurora, what's wrong?" He asked as they reached his bedroom door.

"Please don't leave me too..." She whimpered, tears finally flowing down her cheeks. Jin watched as she collapsed onto her knees, crying into her hands. He finally saw the suffering she was going through as well. Not only were the men Seokjin battled out there his friends, but they were also her friends as well.

They made up the only family she had known, and here they all were, leaving her alone and forcing her to fight them. Jin knelt down to her level, and lifted her chin up. To see Aurora like this was heartbreaking, her beautiful brown eyes now puffy and red as tears stained her cheeks.

"Aurora, I will never leave you. I promise you, I will not sin and leave you in the dark." He said, pulling her into a hug. She cried in his arms, but he held her until her tears ceased. He would not abandon her.

"I swear on my life I will never leave you."

"A toast to today's victors! We have won yet another battle against the angels!" Taehyung yelled, raising his glass of wine in the air. The patrons at his dinner table responded in roars of agreement and raised their glasses with him.

"To many more victories and the fall of Heaven!" He continued to yell, the crowd repeating after him.

"To many more!"

Taehyung sat down and drank the wine as the party began to eat. One of his female servants, a curvaceous, seductive looking girl with wavy brown hair and deep brown eyes that would occasionally flash bright green, sat on his lap and ran her fingers through his blonde hair.

"How's my king tonight?" She purred as she stared into his eyes. He chuckled as he licked the remaining wine off his lips.

"Better than ever Tzuyu. Better than ever."

She smiled sensually before stroking his cheek with the back of her fingers.

"Might I be able to please His Highness tonight?" She asked. His eyes flashed blue at the question as he smirked.

"I expect you in my chambers at midnight my dear." He said smoothly. Tzuyu smiled as she got off his lap and went to join the party. Taehyung sighed as he took another gulp of wine.

"Ah, this is the life~"

He lounged in his chair. This was all he could have ever needed: a realm where everyone bowed down to him, wine and extravagant foods every night, and female consorts throwing themselves at him. Yet he always craved for more. More power, more control, it was always more.

He knew he wasn't the demon of greed, but you couldn't blame the Devil now, could you? He knew his life was going to get even better with Seokjin locked away to rot in his dungeons and that little sister of his on a leash. He watched them in his mirror with a smirk.

Aurora was cleaning up after Seokjin, but he saw how weak she was. Her skin was paler and the color of her lips were fading. A few more attacks, and Seokjin would be on knees for his virtues.

It would be then Tae Hyung would make his first strike.
