"Are we the hunters, or are we the prey?" -Ruelle, 'Game of Survival'
"I can't take it anymore! I have to get her back!"
Namjoon watched Seokjin calmly as he paced the room.
"Princess, if you try to take her now, who knows what he'll do to us." He said as he returned his attention to the book in his lap. Seokjin looked at him in desperation.
"Namjoon, she's the only family I have left. What am I supposed to do when I'm alone?" He cried, his voice full of angst. Namjoon got up and held Jin by the shoulders.
"Hyung, you have us, your friends. You're not alone." He said reassuringly. But Seokjin was not deterred. He had to get Aurora back, he felt empty without her.
"Joonie, I'm sorry you have to come over everyday to check on me." He apologized, but Namjoon shook his head and smiled.
"It's fine Princess. After all the drama you've had to go through, I'm glad I can be of assistance to my friend."
Seokjin felt so hurt inside. Was that all Namjoon saw him as? A friend? It broke his heart to hear that statement.
Next thing he knew, his lips were pressed against Namjoon's and tears were flowing down his cheeks. He needed someone to love him, and without Aurora, he had grown desperate. But his common sense caught up with him way too quickly. He pulled away to see Namjoon staring at him in shock.
Of course, he didn't feel the same... Jin thought miserably.
"I'm sorry, Namjoon." He choked out before running away. Jin ignored his voice calling for him and ran out to the garden. He collapsed at the fountain in the center and cried. Hot tears disturbed the calm surface of the water as the owner, broken like stone, sobbed.
Namjoon had arrived and saw him. The most beautiful man he had ever laid eyes on, sitting there like a broken piece of glass. He approached the angel quietly and asked, "Seokjin?"
The angel looked and backed away from him.
"No. Please, don't hurt me anymore." He begged. Namjoon shook his head as he tried to get closer.
"I'm not going to hurt you. I just wanted to know why you held back your feelings for so long."
Seokjin gulped as he wiped away his tears and said, "Because, I know you don't feel the same. And I was stupid for pulling a move like that. I'm sorry for compromising our friendship."
Jin put his head down as he sniffled. Namjoon gently lifted his chin up and asked, "Who said I didn't feel the same?"
Jin looked at him in confusion before the younger leaned in and placed a soft kiss on his lips. Jin looked at him in surprise first, but melted into the kiss soon after. The two stayed this way for what seemed like forever. Namjoon finally pulled away and smiled at the elder.
"Come on Princess, let's head inside."
Jin took his hand and the two went back inside the house. He finally had the love he needed, but it wasn't the one he wanted.
"Aurora, please tell me you're okay..."

"A picnic?"
Nayeon nodded she pulled out a white dress.
"This is good for a picnic, right?" She asked as she looked at the dress. Aurora took it and changed into it. Once she was finished, she was wearing a crochet dress that ended at the knees with black high heels and a few bracelets. Nayeon put her hair into a half up half down style that looked amazing with her brown hair before applying a bit of pink to her lips.
"Alright, I think you're ready!" Nayeon exclaimed excitedly. Aurora took a deep breath before following Nayeon down out to the gardens. Nayeon stopped at a clearing with willow trees surrounding a small pond. Taehyung sat awaiting her, dressed in much simpler clothes than Aurora was used to, wearing only a deep purple dress shirt, pants, and polished black shoes.
Nayeon left the two quietly, leaving Aurora standing there awkwardly by herself. Taehyung patted the spot next to him.
"Come here Aurora, I don't bite." He said, finishing it off with a malicious grin. Aurora gulped as she sat down by him, well aware that he was staring at her.
"You look beautiful today, my dear." He said, his black wing casually wrapping around her small frame and pulling her closer. Aurora gulped as she made her wings disappear as he made his disappear as well.
"Why do you always stare at me?" She asked. He sighed as he examined the one ring on his finger today, a large opal sitting on a band of steel. He gently placed a finger under her chin and pulled her face towards his.
"It's hard not to. Looking at you is indeed a sight for sore eyes."
Aurora blushed at his words and pushed him away.
"V, you don't have to flatter me." She said.
"Can I help it if I have a gorgeous fiancé?" He asked her. Aurora looked down and started to eat the food that was laid out. Taehyung chuckled at her escape and started to eat as well.
"V?" She asked as she finished eating.
"Yes, my lovely bride?" He replied, finished as well.
"What constitutes to a good marriage?" She asked. He chuckled as he looked into her eyes.
"Secrecy and obedience."
"Why?"
Taehyung brushed away a stray strand of her hair from her face and smiled at her with his usual sly grin.
"Because, if you were only to tell the truth to your husband, then you would get hurt. If your husband were only to tell the truth to you, you would still hurt. Secrets are just another form of protection, because of no wife can handle the truth from their husband. Therefore, the more you lie, the more protection you shall have." He explained. Aurora cocked her head to one side.
"What about obedience?" She asked.
"Obedience is needed because if you don't follow your husband, who else will you follow? Your family and friends have already let you go to him, so if you come begging to leave him, why did you marry him in the first place?" He asked coyly. Aurora blinked as she registered in his words.
"I never thought about that way. I always assumed you needed honesty and trust in a good marriage." She said. Taehyung scoffed.
"Honey, if there was a world with a couple like that, there wouldn't be need for Hell or Heaven. The world is not perfect, so you can't pretend it is. It'll just come and bite you back later in life."
"Has that ever happened to you?" She asked. He raised an eyebrow and asked, "Excuse me?"
"Has Fate ever come to bite you back when you tried to change it?"
