15: Cold

Over the next few weeks, Taehyung shut Aurora out. In the beginning she didn't mind, because he finally understood to leave her alone. But later it bothered her just a bit. She hated to admit it, but she missed his cheesy flattery, his small but kind gestures, and him always telling her the truth, no matter how brutal.

Aurora was walking up to his study, her hands crossed behind her back as she thought out what she was going to say.

Okay Aurora, you can do this...

She knocked politely on the door before getting a reply.

"Come in."

Aurora opened the door to see V at his desk, reading a book. He had a pair of gold rimmed glasses on as his eyes remained focused on the text below him. He looked up to see who it was and raised an eyebrow.

"What has my dear fiancé come here for today? You usually make it a daily habit to avoid me."

Aurora gulped as she said, "I came to check on you."

V chuckled before taking his glasses and placing them backwards behind his head.

Odd... Aurora thought as she watched him.

"Check on me? What reason does Seokjin's beloved flower girl have to check on me?"

When Aurora didn't reply, he smirked and gestured her over, saying, "Come here and tell me your real reason, my dear."

Aurora walked over to his side, but V pulled her onto his lap, holding her waist. Aurora blushed at the sudden gesture. V smirked at Aurora's shy behavior as he smoothly hooked his finger under her chin and pulled her face closer to his.

"Now tell me the real reason why you came to me." He said in a soft voice, their eyes locked and their faces only inches away from each other. Aurora blushed as she pushed him away.

"I...I..."

V's smirk grew at her stutters and he asked, "Is it that you missed all the attention I gave you?"

Aurora gulped as he leaned over to her ear and whispered, "Did you miss me calling you beautiful?"

Aurora shivered as one of his hands stroked her waist. He grinned before whispering, "Do you want me to give you more attention?"

A knock at the door interrupted him before he could do anything further. He rolled his eyes before asking, "What do you want?"

"Another letter from Seokjin has arrived, Master." Youngjae called outside. V rolled his eyes as Aurora looked at him curiously.

"My brother's been sending you letters?" She asked, but V ignored her as he told Youngjae to come in. Youngjae entered with a parchment scroll in his hand, complete with Seokjin's seal. V took the scroll and unrolled it, putting his glasses back on as Aurora remained on his lap, reading alongside him as well.

'Don't you dare lay a hand on my little sister! If I find out you touched as much as a hair on her, I'm declaring war!'

V scoffed while Aurora looked at it in worry.

"Does he really think that empty threat is going to scare me?" He asked as he tossed the letter aside. Aurora looked at him worriedly.

"Do you really believe he'll declare war?"

V scoffed as he shook his head.

"Like he could ever go against all of Hell."

Aurora turned his face towards her as she asked him, "Will you please allow me send a letter to Seokjin to dissuade him from war?"

V smirked as he asked, "What will I get in return?"

Aurora bowed her head as she said, "Anything you want."

"Anything?"

Aurora looked up with wide eyes as she said, "Just not anything, um, involving..."

V smirked as he raised a brow, asking coyly, "What? Sex? Fornication? Love making?"

"Yes! Please, not anything involving that." She pleaded. V smirked lazily as he shrugged.

"Alright, I'm satisfied."

He pulled out a fresh scroll of parchment and handed her the quill and ink. Aurora picked the quill up and started to write.

'My Dearest Brother,

Seokjin oppa, please, I beg you not fight with V. He hasn't done anything terrible to me, so please don't get us into another war. Take care of yourself and send the boys my love.

Aurora rolled it up before pouring hot wax from a candle nearby and using the ring Seokjin had given her for her eighteenth thousandth birthday to seal it. She handed it to Youngjae, who left to send it off. V started to kiss her neck, Aurora blushed in response as she asked in a panicked voice, "What do you think you're doing?!"

V smiled as he continued.

"What? This isn't sex."

Aurora felt his tongue trail down the length of her neck as she whined, "But it leads to it!"

"Mhm, so sweet..." He murmured as he started to suck on her skin, but not hard enough to leave marks. Aurora whined as she felt him softly suck the base of her neck.

"V!"

V pulled away as he asked, "Do you want me to stop?"

Aurora nodded as she said, "Preferably, yes."

He smirked as he leaned in closer.

"Oh, so you wouldn't mind if I continued?" He asked, leaning in for a kiss. Aurora pushed him away as she blushed.

"Why are you giving me all this attention now?" She asked as she turned her head away. But he saw it as an opportunity to kiss her neck some more and get another taste of her sweet tasting skin. V ignored her questions as he kissed up behind her ear and teasingly bit her earlobe.

"Do I make you uneasy doing this?" He whispered, taking a few licks at her ear. Aurora shivered in response. It was already so obvious she was the angel of purity; she wasn't used to getting touched so intimately and he bet she was still a virgin.

"Do you want me to continue?" He whispered as he moved to her jaw. Aurora rested a hand on his chest  as she whimpered softly at his touch.

"V please... you don't want me..."

He pulled away to look at her with dark blue eyes.

"My dear, you don't how wrong you are right now."
