The next few weeks, V treated Aurora kindly, but she knew better than to ask any personal questions. She knew there was something he had that held her under his control and his rules.

"Mistress, the Master is requesting you in his study." Nayeon said, but Aurora didn't exactly feel like being V's eye candy right now. She in fact, didn't feel like being pushed around by the Devil today at all.

"Tell him I'm not coming." She said curtly, sitting on her bed in defiance. Outside, Nayeon gulped. She turned to Mark who stood behind her with fearful eyes.

"Tell Jinyoung to go get some more vases and pray he'll stick to those." She said weakly before turning back to the door. Mark grimaced before heading off to find the servant.

"Mistress, you know what happened last time you were like this. Please, can't you be a bit cooperative?"

"No." Was Aurora's short reply. Nayeon knew she now had no choice but to face him and tell him the stubborn girl's choice. She walked away and head to the young king's study, who was awaiting his fiancé. She headed in, the young man immediately losing his charismatic smile and asking impatiently, "Well?"

Nayeon gulped and stuttered out weakly, "W-well, she s-said, she, um..."

He rolled his eyes and gestured his hands in a circle.

"Spit it out Nayeon, I haven't got all day."

"She isn't coming."

Taehyung took a deep breath, trying to keep his temper under control. His breath shook as he asked, "Did you make sure?"

Nayeon nodded as she closed her eyes and awaited the worst. Taehyung's eyes flashed a bright blue before he stomped off to the East Wing. Nayeon opened her eyes and saw he had left, and Jinyoung was arriving with numerous boxes full of vases.

"Got em! Now where is he?"

Jinyoung looked around for Taehyung only to realize the trouble was about to begin. Mark patted his shoulder as he arrived and said, "Let's hope we'll be able to see tomorrow, buddy. If not, maybe he won't burn our souls to ashes."

Taehyung arrived at Aurora's door and knocked on it.

"Aurora, what do you think you're doing?" He asked, a growl evident his voice. She huffed behind the door.

"I'm not one of your servants, V. You aren't going to push me around like that."

Taehyung snarled.

"Listen here Princess, no matter important you think you are, I'm always going to be the master. I will always be above you."

"You don't control me." She said stubbornly.

"Do you know how much power I have?" He threatened. She kept her head high as she turned her back to the door.

"Hmph."

Taehyung's eyes turned cyan as he growled at the stubborn girl. He hated it when he didn't have control over someone, so he learned ways to put his control over people.

"Millions of people have died because of my hand and I'm not afraid to add another to my pile of the silenced." He said in a low voice full of malice. Aurora crossed her arms as she pretended not to hear him. She didn't care about his empty threats when she was protected in her magic secured room.

"Like your brother."

Aurora turned around and asked, "What?"

Taehyung grinned. He had her attention now.

"You may be Little Miss Precious, but I could fly up there right and be back with his blood all over my clothes in less than five minutes. Hell, I'll even bring a souvenir back." He taunted her, his voice slightly playful as he spoke. Aurora opened the door and shook her head.

"Please, don't hurt him..." She begged, pleading with those desperate eyes he had longed to see. Taehyung watched as she put her head down in defeat. He lifted her head up with a coy smile.

"Watch me ruin him, my dear."

"I can't believe this! Is he really that adamant on making me suffer?!"

Seokjin huffed in frustration as Namjoon read over the scroll again.

"Well Princess, this is the Devil you're trying to negotiate with. Do you really think he'll be fair?"

Jin pulled at his hair in frustration as he paced. Why was he doing this to him? Why couldn't he just get Aurora back safely and be done?!

"Namjoon, you don't think Aurora's fallen for his little act yet, right?" He asked. Namjoon thought for a moment before shaking his head.

"No, I trust Aurora's a smart girl and she'll see straight though his mask. She knows who the Devil is." He said with a creased brow. Seokjin furrowed his eyebrows as he thought about his little sister, who could be suffering down there.

"Ugh, why am I always cursed with this terrible luck?" He whined. Namjoon chuckled as he stood up from his seat. He hooked his fingers with Jin's belt loops and pulled him closer.

"Now, now Princess. It's no good to whine. Plus, I don't like the fact that V is taking up all your attention."

Jin blushed slightly at Namjoon's gesture and said, "Joonie, I'm sorry for not being a good boyfriend."

Namjoon chuckled as he gently leaned in and said, "Then let me be your stress reliever and we're good."

He leaned in and kissed Jin deeply, the elder responding back almost immediately. They kissed for a bit before Jin pulled away to catch his breath.

"How long has it been since we've had moments like these?" He asked softly. Namjoon kissed up his jaw and behind his ear.

"Too long."

He kissed Jin again, slowly pushing the pink haired man back down onto the couch. The elder ran his fingers through the former's dark green locks and pulled him closer. This was what he was missing out on worrying about Taehyung. He needed to let go for a little and be distracted if he ever wanted time with his precious Joonie.

Aurora, please forgive me...
